Jantar à dois.
Gostei do restaurante.
Garçons SUPER educados e atenciosos, menu vasto, ambiente agradável, música na medida certa e com bom repertório. Comida boa (não excelente).
PRÓS:
- pedi um risoto com filé ao molho de jabuticaba. O filé veio no ponto que pedi. O molho estava gostoso. O ponto do arroz estava correto.
- garçons extremamente atenciosos;
- a entrada de polenta com ragu de linguiça estava divino. Acho que foi o ponto forte da noite;
- ambiente agradável
- pratos bem servidos
CONTRA:
- o carbonara que minha amiga comeu estava muito bom, mas não foi o melhor que comi em BH. Poderia ser mais “raiz”;
- o risoto estava ok, mas faltou potência. Faltou um toque à mais que o tornasse inesquecível. Estava “good, but not great”.
Com certeza pretendo voltar para experimentar outros pratos. A experiência foi muito boa.

SEGUNDA VISITA: 18/12/2021
A segunda visita foi um pouco mais frustrante do que a primeira. Já repenso se retornaria ao local.
PRÓS:
- Estive novamente na cantina e provei uma lasanha negra com frutos do mar. Estava ok. Sem muito sabor mas a massa estava no ponto correto.
- Provei o risoto de uma amiga e estava bom.
CONTRAS:
- caipirinha nota 6.
- pior de tudo: já era tarde, quase todas as nessas vazias, e uma mesa com um casal começou a fumar cigarro eletrônico no local (fechado). As poucas mesas que ainda tinham clientes olharam constrangidas para a cena e pareciam aguardar uma atitude da equipe. Como nada aconteceu, chamei um garçom, que fez “cara de paisagem” e nada fez para inibir o ato ilícito (sim, até onde eu saiba (cabe atualização), cigarro eletrônico é proibido no Brasil e a casa permitiu o seu uso). Isso foi bem frustrante.

Dinner for two.
I liked the restaurant.
SUPER polite and attentive waiters, vast menu, pleasant atmosphere, music in the right measure and with a good repertoire. Good food (not excellent).
PROS:
- I ordered a risotto with filet in jabuticaba sauce. The filet came at the point I asked for. The sauce was tasty. The rice stitch was correct.
- extremely attentive waiters;
- the polenta starter with sausage ragout was divine. I think it was the strong point of the night;
- pleasant environment
- dishes well served
AGAINST:
- The carbonara that my friend ate was very good, but it wasn't the best I've had in Belo Horizonte. It could be more “root”;
- the risotto was ok, but it lacked potency. It lacked one more touch that would make it unforgettable. It was “good, but not great”.
I definitely plan to go back to try other dishes. The experience was very good.

SECOND VISIT: 12/18/2021
The second visit was a little more frustrating than the first. I'm already thinking about returning to the place.
PROS:
- I was in the canteen again and tasted a black lasagna with seafood. It was ok. Not much flavor but the dough was just right.
- I tasted a friend's risotto and it was good.
CONS:
- Caipirinha grade 6.
- Worst of all: it was late, almost all those empty, and a table with a couple started smoking electronic cigarettes in the place (closed). The few tables that still had customers looked embarrassed at the scene and seemed to be waiting for an attitude from the team. As nothing happened, I called a waiter, who made a “landscape” face and did nothing to inhibit the illicit act (yes, as far as I know (updating), electronic cigarettes are prohibited in Brazil and the house allowed their use). This was very frustrating.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I travel to Belo 3-4 times per year and I always stop by and have one of the most amazing meals one can imagine. The normal menu is mouth watering, the specials or seasonal items or, like last time, the Taste of Amazon special just make this place a must visit. Owner/Chef Americo shows his passion in his dishes every single day and they are always top notch. Make sure you visit soon, the meals are incredible! So is dessert!!
