★ ★ ★ ★ ★ O museu apresenta um ótimo acervo de paleontologia e geologia.É interativo, conta com videos educativos e as exposições são de fácil entendimento. Só falta câmera de segurança e climatização em todas as salas. E o senhor da recepção não é muito simpático srsrsr.
The museum has a great collection of paleontology and geology. It is interactive, has educational videos and the exhibits are easy to understand. Only lack security camera and climate control in all rooms. And the lord of reception is not very friendly srsrsr.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Interessantíssimo, exposições muito diferentes que podem ser compreendidas por crianças ou especialistas da área. Mostra diversas rochas belíssimas. Mediadores interessados e didáticos. Salas didáticas e com objetivo bastante pedagógico. Vale muito a pena a visita, não costuma estar cheio por não ser muito conhecido. Muitíssimo legal.
Very interesting, very different exhibitions that can be understood by children or experts in the field. It shows several beautiful rocks. Interested and didactic mediators. Didactic and educational rooms. It is well worth the visit, it is not usually full because it is not well known. Very cool.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Espaço ótimo para levar alunos em passeios científicos e para visitas. Entrada gratuita. Com ótimos exemplares de rochas, minerais e fósseis. Além de ser um ambiente muito agradável. Toda a exposição é bem explicada. Também há disponível guias, caso seja necessário, para explicações mais aprofundadas. Há estacionamento gratuito no local e opções de lanchonetes para almoços e lanches mais simples. Como o museu está localizado no Centro de Ciências Matemáticas e da Natureza, recomendo visitar as bibliotecas e aproveitar a visita para circular pelo prédio e conhecer melhor a UFRJ.
Great place to take students on scientific tours and visits. Free entry. With great examples of rocks, minerals and fossils. Besides being a very nice environment. The whole exhibition is well explained. Guides are also available, if necessary, for further explanation. There is free on-site parking and snack options for lunches and snacks. As the museum is located in the Center for Mathematical Sciences and Nature, I recommend visiting the libraries and enjoy the visit to visit the building and get to know UFRJ better.
