O Batismo é a porta de entrada dos cristãos na Igreja, corpo de Cristo. (Lumem Gentium, 14). Foi o próprio Jesus que, ao enviar seus discípulos ao mundo para batizar todas as nações “em nome do Pai, do Filho e do Espírito Santo” (Mt 28,19), instituiu este sacramento. É o primeiro sacramento da Iniciação Cristã, por meio do qual “é representada e realizada a união com a morte e ressurreição de Cristo,” (Lumem Gentium, 7) e que permite a recepção de todos os demais sacramentos.

Também está ao lado do Campus Ipiranga da PUC. Os jardins ao redor são outros locais que merecem ser visitados. E, em dias de casamento, a decoração a deixa ainda mais especial...
 broad but silent church. It was renovated this year (2017) for the Golden Jubilee of its existence. It was the parish of the SP theological seminary that is annexed. It is also next to the PUC Campus Ipiranga. The surrounding gardens are other sites worth checking out. And wedding days, the decor makes it even more special ...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Essa paróquia realmente mudou a minha vida, acabei conhecendo por causa de uma quermesse e fiquei encantada com ela. No dia seguinte entrei no site e descobri que eles tem um projeto de Taekwondo, onde matriculei meu filho e desde então não paro de visitar essa paróquia. Foi aí que conversei naturalmente pela primeira vez com um padre, primeiramente com o Padre Boris e agora com o Padre Pedro. Adoro esse lugar!
This parish really changed my life, I ended up getting to know it because of a party and I was delighted with it. The next day I went to the website and found out that they have a Taekwondo project, where I enrolled my son and since then I haven't stopped visiting this parish. It was there that I spoke naturally for the first time with a priest, first with Father Boris and now with Father Pedro. I love this place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Uma das melhores igrejas da região. Paroquianos acolhedores, várias pastorais nas quais podemos nos engajar. No momento está em reforma (relamente necessária) mas continua linda e silenciosa. Ótimo lugar para ir fazer orações diárias e ficar na presença do Santíssimo (capela) em Adoração.
One of the best churches in the region. Welcoming parishioners, various pastorals in which we can engage. It is currently under renovation (really necessary) but still beautiful and quiet. Great place to go to say daily prayers and be in the presence of the Most Holy (chapel) in Adoration.

Great. The priest is super verbose and didactic. Mass better than the church on Rua Gentil de Moura. I highly recommend it. It has parking place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Essa paróquia tem muita história, na minha história de vida, meu pai (o Moacir) tocando todos os domingos na missa e a gente lá junto participando outras vezes brincando Rsrs.
Recentemente realizaram a missa de um ano de falecimento dele, Foi especial, tenho certeza que ele estava junto.

This parish has a lot of history, in my life story, my father (Moacir) playing every Sunday at mass and we there together participating in other times, playing Lol.
They recently held a Mass for the year after his death. It was special, I'm sure he was together.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Esta paróquia foi fundada em 1967 e no mesmo conjunto é também instalado o campus da PUC-Ipiranga. A igreja é bem simples, com luzes de tom azul no seu altar para sentirmos que estamos no céu. Temos vitrais nas duas laterais e arcos na sua entrada principal.
This parish was founded in 1967 and the PUC-Ipiranga campus is also installed in the same complex. The church is very simple, with blue lights on its altar to make us feel that we are in heaven. We have stained glass windows on both sides and arches at its main entrance.
