★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Péssima estadia!!! Alugamos o quarto principal (suíte 16) e tivemos problemas com o ar condicionado e a jacuzzi que simplesmente não funcionou pelos dois dias que pagamos pela hospedagem! A ultima reclamação foi as 16 horas do sábado e já não havia manutenção disponível. Café da manhã não condiz com valor cobrado e o hotel todo tem vasos de agua com larvas de mosquito.
 Terrible stay!!! We rented the master bedroom (suite 16) and we had problems with the air conditioning and the jacuzzi that just didn't work for the two days we paid for the accommodation! The last complaint was at 4 pm on Saturday and there was no maintenance available. Breakfast does not match the amount charged and the entire hotel has water vases with mosquito larvae.

Muito aconchegante: da música de fundo para as refeições, ao chuveiro e lençóis do quarto. Café da manhã e janta (não provamos o almoço) mto saboroso e fresquinho. Só sugiro mais opções vegetarianas e adicionar (ou indicar) as opções veganas.
O atendimento é excepcional, todos muito educados e dispostos, até lembrou omotenashi. Tiro o chapéu pra recepcionista Adriana, que foi quem nos atendeu quando chegamos, mto educada e solicita.
A piscina aquecida é um deleite.
Quando voltarmos pra Ilhabela, já sabemos onde ficar!
Wonderful hotel!
Very cozy: from the background music for the meals, to the shower and sheets in the room. Breakfast and dinner (we didn't try lunch) very tasty and fresh. I only suggest more vegetarian options and adding (or indicating) vegan options.
The service is exceptional, everyone is very polite and willing, even remembering omotenashi. Hats off to receptionist Adriana, who was the one who attended to us when we arrived, very polite and solicitous.
The heated pool is a delight.
When we return to Ilhabela, we already know where to stay!

Fomos recebidos com uma "cervejinha de boas vindas" e logo de cara já foi diferenciado.
Viajamos bastante dentro e fora do Brasil a trabalho e turismo e o atendimento foi um dos melhores que já vimos! O hotel é lindo, limpeza e arrumação impecáveis, muitíssimo bem decorado com muito bom gosto!
O café da manhã foi excelente, com a pãezinhos quentinhos servidos individualmente na mesa, omeletes deliciosos, e a mesa e reposta a todo momento com itens frescos.
Resumindo... Foi uma excelente experiência que recomendo sem medo de errar!!!
We highly recommend! We were very surprised by the excellent service, education and kindness of all the staff.
We were greeted with a "welcome beer" and right away we were different.
We travel a lot in and out of Brazil for work and tourism and the service was one of the best we've ever seen! The hotel is beautiful, impeccable cleanliness and tidiness, very well decorated with great taste!
The breakfast was excellent, with warm rolls served individually on the table, delicious omelets, and the table being replenished at all times with fresh items.
In short... It was an excellent experience that I recommend without fear of making mistakes!!!

2. TV Volume - Did not adjust with remote control. Batteries have been changed.
3. Safe - Battery to be changed as it is giving an error message “bat-lo”. Batteries never changed.
4. Rug always had dust and debris on it - from check in day to the day we checked out.
In short, Room 8 was not ready for occupancy upon our check in.
Shower floor was constructed in such a way the water would collect at the entrance. Well away from the drain haha ? So, every-time one took a shower they had to step in a pool of cold, old shower water to shower. Not ideal.
Friday, September 18th I received two calls to the room from the reception desk, both times they were advised my Portuguese is limited and both times they simply hung up the phone. As a result, they sent the valet to the room, he too was advised of my limited Portuguese. Still not sure what they want... With technology today, communication is easy - simply translate!
This hotel and its staff are not prepared to handle international guests.
F&B service was good, they we’re outgoing, friendly and efficient.
The claims of “anticipating needs” and “relaxed, serene environment” were not experienced during this 4 night stat...

Abayomi Hotel was a gratifying experience. It is well designed, with a nice décor and a very nice and clean environment.
Its staff could not be more friendly and efficient. My family and I were impressed.
The room is very comfortable.
There is a suitable indoor parking.
There is a nice swimming pool area.
They provide reserved tables and umbrellas, as well as service on the beach across the street. The only drawback is that the beach itself is not that good [when compared to the many other beaches around there], but it's probably ok for most people.
There are several restaurants and shopping places around.
It's less than 2 mi from the historical center [called Vila].
Next time we visit Ilhabela we'll stay there.
