★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vim morar no Rio, na época, sem família, mas, pouco tempo tempo depois, um casal de amigos me levou para assistir a um seminário de jiu-jitsu, num sábado. Saí do Abi-Rihan Dojô com a matrícula feita. É sobre jiu-jitsu na vêia, mas também é sobre um lugar que te acolhe, é sobre um mestre que vira pai, amigo e irmão e cumpre tão verdadeiramente a filosofia de equilíbrio, lealdade e família, que todos os alunos passam a se sentir pertencente também. Há 8 anos tenho uma grande família aqui no Rio e família você sabe como é...a gente é pra sempre! OSS!
I came to live in Rio at the time, without a family, but, a short time later, a couple of friends took me to attend a jiu-jitsu seminar on a Saturday. I left the Abi-Rihan Dojô with the registration done. It is about jiu-jitsu in the country, but it is also about a place that welcomes you, it is about a master who becomes a father, friend and brother and so truly follows the philosophy of balance, loyalty and family, that all students start to feel belonging too. For 8 years I have a big family here in Rio and family you know how it is ... we are forever! OSS!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Conheci o Ar Dojo há alguns anos para experimentar o Jiu Jitsu e encontrei um ambiente familiar, respeitoso e altamente técnico! O mestre Abi Rihan é acessível e possui uma didática diferenciada, é muito claro nas explicações e destinava uma turma só para os iniciantes, conduzida por outros professores com a mesma qualidade. O dojo é amplo, ventilado e sempre limpo.
Hoje estou de volta ao AR Dojo (onde fui muito bem acolhida) mas para treinar karate shotokan, esporte que comecei a praticar há uns 30 anos. Com o amigo e Sensei Eduardo Guaranys (3º dan KWF/Japão) os treinos são técnicos e ele tem a capacidade de nos motivar sempre. A turma é eclética, entre iniciantes e graduados, homens, mulheres e crianças! Vejo o karate como um cuidado com a saúde física, mental e também como lazer, eu me divirto treinando!
É uma honra fazer parte da Família Abi Rihan!

I came to Ar Dojo a few years ago to try Jiu Jitsu and found it to be a familiar, respectful and highly technical environment! Master Abi Rihan is accessible and has a differentiated didactic, is very clear in the explanations and intended a class just for beginners, led by other teachers with the same quality. The dojo is spacious, ventilated and always clean.
Today I'm back at the AR Dojo (where I was very well received) but to train shotokan karate, a sport I started practicing about 30 years ago. With his friend and Sensei Eduardo Guaranys (3rd dan KWF/Japan) the training is technical and he has the ability to always motivate us. The class is eclectic, between beginners and graduates, men, women and children! I see karate as a care for physical and mental health and also as leisure, I have fun training!
It's an honor to be part of the Abi Rihan Family!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good Jiu-Jitsu gym (+wrestling and judo) in Rio de Janeiro, specially if you are visiting the city. There are many classes from the 7am to 10pm. they go from basic white belt lessons to competitive black belts. I hightly reccomend it!
