Chegar neste lugar e ser recepcionado pelas sombras das enormes sete-copas que abrigam o Acarajé da Vanda não tem preço. O local possui mesas e cadeiras sombreadas, além de maravilhosas redes espalhadas pelo lugar. Um verdadeiro oásis no calor da Bahia. O atendimento é rápido, gentil e atencioso. Logo se descobre o porquê do título “Melhor Acarajé do Morro de São Paulo.” O ponto alto para mim, que sou vegetariano, foi a opção vegana no cardápio, que não encontrei em nenhum outro lugar do morro. O vatapá de aipim é generosamente servido juntamente com um delicioso caruru e vinagrete em um bolinho perfeito, crocante e sequinho por fora e super macio por dentro. Saí de Gamboa para ir comer o acarajé. No dia seguinte fui novamente. Voltaria todos os dias, se não tivesse de ir embora.

You soon discover the reason for the title “Best Acarajé in Morro de São Paulo.” The highlight for me, as a vegetarian, was the vegan option on the menu, which I couldn't find anywhere else on the hill. The cassava vatapá is generously served together with a delicious caruru and vinaigrette in a perfect cookie, crispy and dry on the outside and super soft on the inside. I left Gamboa to eat acarajé. The next day I went again. I would go back every day if I didn't have to leave.
