About Adventist College of Taboão da Serra
O primeiro dia de aula, a gente nunca esquece! E 1º de julho de 1896 não foi diferente. Nessa data, o Colégio Internacional de Curitiba abria as portas, não de apenas uma nova escola, mas da primeira unidade do que hoje chamamos Rede Educacional Adventista no Brasil. Situada na rua Paula Gomes, 290, em uma casa de janelas grandes, próxima ao parque Passeio Público, de residências da elite e da biblioteca municipal, no centro de Curitiba, aquela instituição seria o pontapé inicial para um sistema educacional que hoje está presente em todo o país.
Mas essa história começa com um número pequeno de pioneiros. O Colégio Internacional teve Guilherme Stein Júnior como seu primeiro diretor, nada mais nada menos do que o primeiro adventista batizado em território nacional. Ele, que se mudou de Piracicaba, no interior paulista, para Curitiba com o objetivo de dirigir a instituição, havia estudado em um colégio que também possuía o título “internacional”. Esse pode ter sido o motivo para a primeira escola adventista carregar esse nome durante os anos iniciais. Porém, outra explicação seria o fato de aquela escola pioneira oferecer o ensino bilíngue, em português e alemão, o que foi um grande atrativo para a população curitibana.

 Wonderful school !! They are people of character, they care about food (there is an awareness of healthy eating every year). Christian values.Price more than fair. Cultural tours. There is class at the pool. I do not change my daughter from school anymore.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ aos comentários negativos acima, se vcs acham ruim as falhas apontadas num colégio cristão, imagine colocar seu filho em uma escola comum, sem princípios! acredito que lá fora está tudo infinitamente pior. Conheço muitas crianças e pais que não trocam essa escola por nenhuma outra. Para aqueles que criticam as normas do colégio, tudo é explicitado antes da matricula, são regras do colégio, só se matricula quem concorda, agora se matricular e depois vir criticar, nada a ver né!!
To the negative comments above, if you find the failings pointed out in a Christian college bad, imagine putting your child in an ordinary, unprincipled school! I believe everything is infinitely worse out there. I know many children and parents who do not trade this school for any other. For those who criticize the rules of the school, everything is explained before enrollment, are rules of the college, only those who agree, now enroll and then come to criticize, nothing to do right !!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sou estudante do ensino médio (2018), sou bolsista, e me sinto privilegiada de estudar num colégio como este, que nos dão tantas oportunidades para formar alunos bons. Há algumas falhas sim, a escola é feita de alunos, que por algumas vezes, não receberam a educação necessária e que fazem da escola um lugar um pouco desagradável, e em relação as regras, apesar de rígidas, são necessárias, e que seguem a filosofia adventista, mas não deixa de ser uma ótima opção para pais que pesquisam um colégio que formam cidadãos de caráter.
I am a high school student (2018), I have a scholarship, and I feel privileged to study at a college like this, which gives us so many opportunities to train good students. Professores de qualidade, ensino de princípios e valores, normas e regras (que faltam em muitas escolas e em muitos lares hoje, sendo extremamente necessárias para as crianças), criam de fato, cidadãos melhores. Sou grato a Deus e ao colégio pelo tempo que passei lá, recebi caráter que vai muito além do ensino.
I studied for eleven years at this school and if I am a good person today I owe a lot to Adventist education at CATS. Quality teachers, teaching principles and values, norms and rules (which are lacking in many schools and in many homes today, being sorely needed by children) do indeed create better citizens. I am grateful to God and to the school for the time I spent there, I received a character that goes far beyond teaching.

Bom vou falar da minha experiencia.
Eu gostei da estrutura e de alguns dos funcionarios a maioria são simpaticos e carinhos.
O vice Diretor Adriano não tem condições de lidar com adolescentes mais agitados. tudo em tudo a crianca perde o direito de estudar
(advertencia).
A Marcela me recebeu em sua sala na inicio das aulas, eu fui procura-la, pedi orientação para meu filho por alguns problemas de adolescente, ela so foi me procurar agora em junho ( o que me ajudou a tomar a decisao de muda-lo de escola.
O Diretor Valdeci é um doce de pessoa, mas na nossa ultima conversa sobre colocar reforço na semana para alguns alunos com dificuldades assim como o meu, ficou de retornar no dia segunte e até hoje, liguei no dia seguinte ele estava numa viagem.... e até hoje.
Sou super presente na vida escolar do meu filho e conversando com algumas mães descobri que as escolas Adventistas sao adm por das
instituições diferentes ( Paulistana sul e Paulistana )
a Paulistana tem reforço semanal e a Paulistana sul não...
tai a minha opção de escolha. a Estrutura não e tudo, o ensino não e tudo, mas mudanças precisa acontecer...
tanto do interior do meu filho, do estilo de vida, e da direção da escola.
e isso, ele vai para uma escola que tenha o que precisamos.

Well I'll talk about my experience.
I liked the structure and some of the staff are most friendly and caring.
Deputy Director Adriano can not deal with more agitated adolescents. all in all the child loses the right to study

Marcela met me in her class room at the beginning of the class, I went to her, asked my son for some teenage problems, she just came to me in June (which helped me make the decision to change it) of school.
The Director Valdeci is a sweet person, but in our last conversation about putting reinforcement in the week for some students with difficulties just like mine, stayed back on the second day and until today, I called the next day he was on a trip ... and even today.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nunca pensei que me decepcionaria tanto com uma escola, se você tem um filho especial ( no caso da minha filha uma limitação intelectual) passe longe desta escola, eles falam que fazem inclusão social, na hora de assinar contratos e receber, mais nem sabem o significado de fato, minha filha necessita de inclusão ou seja, atenção, carinho, afeto, paciência e alguns outros cuidados, e não gente que só pensa em dinheiro, uma escola deste padrão, que ensina a palavra de Deus, como pode não praticar a mesma ?? Estou enojado, esta é a palavra. Muito triste.
