O AMEC é uma escola de formação, onde eu aprendi a língua inglesa nos contextos de família, comunidade e desenvolvimento humano. Foi por causa da minha formação no AMEC que eu consegui o meu primeiro emprego e muitas outras oportunidades que propulsionaram minha carreira: as minhas bolsas de pesquisa e monitoramento no curso de Letras da UFPE, meu trabalho como professora de inglês no Colégio Jesus Crucificado, e muito mais. A lista é longa. O AMEC me deu a fundação. O AMEC foi o começo de tudo. Eu fiz meu mestrado e doutorado nos EUA... tudo com o conhecimento de inglês que eu ganhei no AMEC. Hoje eu tenho uma carreira na área de tecnologia educacional numa das maiores empresas de tecnologia do mundo. Tudo o que eu faço na minha função profissional depende da minha competência oral e escrita na língua inglesa. Se eu não falasse e não escrevesse bem em inglês, eu não poderia ter a carreira que eu tenho hoje. O American English Center tem a melhor pedagogia que eu conheço. Obrigada à família AMEC pela educação que vocês me deram. Vocês estão na minha prática diária de gratidão. I studied at AMEC from beginner level (I was about 11-12 years old) to TOEFL prep. AMEC is more than an English course. AMEC is a training school where I learned the English language in family, community and human development contexts. It was because of my education at AMEC that I got my first job and many other opportunities that boosted my career: my research and monitoring scholarships in the UFPE Language Course, my work as an English teacher at Colégio Jesus Crucificado, and a lot more. The list is long. AMEC gave me the foundation. AMEC was the beginning of everything. I did my masters and doctorate in the USA... all with the knowledge of English that I gained at AMEC. Today I have a career in educational technology at one of the biggest technology companies in the world. Everything I do in my professional role depends on my oral and written competence in the English language. If I didn't speak and write well in English, I couldn't have the career I have today. The American English Center has the best pedagogy I know. Thanks to the AMEC family for the education you gave me. You are in my daily practice of gratitude. I recommend AMEC to all those who want to learn the English language in a dynamic, contextual and humanized way and who want to achieve fluency in the language. I was, am and always will be AMEC.
