Wonderful, one of the tunnels they were showing us was all dark, the military guards took the opportunity to joke with the gang. Just Miss you!!???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Forte fazia parte do sistema de defesa do porto de Santos e dói idealizado no final do século XIX junto com a fortaleza do Itaipú. Em 1934 iniciou-se as obras do complexo subterrâneo que abastecia as columbrinas com alcance de 12 km. Com a 2 Guerra Mundial a ideia de manter uma posição fixa perdeu completamente o sentido e o forte foi desativado. Hoje as baterias são móveis, transportadas em veículos ou mesmo no ombro do combatente com um enorme poder de alcance. Assim esse forte encerra a história dos fortes na Costa brasileira.
Fort was part of the defense system of the port of Santos and hurts idealized in the late nineteenth century along with the fortress of Itaipú. In 1934 the works of the underground complex that supplied the columbinas with a range of 12 km began. With World War II the idea of maintaining a fixed position completely lost its meaning and the fort was deactivated. Today's batteries are mobile, carried in vehicles or even on the combatant's shoulder with enormous range power. This fort thus ends the history of the forts on the Brazilian coast.

Infelizmente a piscina não estava funcionando. O café da manhã é simples mas bem preparado. O Sgt Júlio faz um excelente trabalho com sua equipe para deixar tudo sempre de acordado. PARABÉNS!
Amazing experience. The HT of the fort is one of the best I have ever stayed. Recently renovated, it offers a great stay for those who want to rest and enjoy the beach. Unfortunately the pool was not working. Breakfast is simple but well prepared. Sgt Júlio does an excellent job with his team to keep everything awake. CONGRATULATIONS!
