Whether you practice with another group or you are a true beginner of capoeira, this is a great place to come for training or even just observation during your time in Salvador. If you are lucky, you will get the opportunity to meet Mestre Bamba, who is not only highly skilled at capoeira but has a kind and gentle heart.

Here are the very roots of Capoeira Regional, because it is the same place where Mestre Bimba taught. And I am very grateful to the ACMB not only for the preservation of the place sacred to every capoeirista of Regional, but for the spirit of family, spirit of friendship, spirit of partnership which is strong in this place. The energy, axé is very strong here. Thanks to Mestre Bamba an the family, my gratitude ❤

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Salvador is a heritage and Capoeira world capital. It does not matter if you are seasoned capoeirista or you just started your life journey with Capoeira - Associação de Capoeira Mestre Bimba (ACMB Academy) located on Pelourinho is a must and #1 place to visit.
Professionalism and attention to the details during classes (aulas) to each person participating is excellent. You can always try to join the classes which are running on a daily basis except Sundays or you can just sit aside and observe when others receive massive doses of knowledge, physical challenge and history of Capoeira taught by Mestres, C. Mestres and Professores.
Well recommended because that class and atmosphere you will remember through the rest of your life.
