★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect place for a quite coffee off the main Avenue in Ipanema. The coffee and cakes are very authentic and the detox juices are very fresh.
A nice place to spend the day with your laptop and/or meet people. The owner Dan is a very nice, welcoming bloke. Aussie Coffee is an Oasis in the sometimes overwhelming Ipanema landscape!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love it here! It was the first place I went for coffee when I arrived in Rio and I met so many lovely people, it’s more like a community than a coffee shop. Over the course of the month I continued to return and loved being a regular, if only for a short while. Coffee and food is also great! I especially love the rosti and the beetroot juice. Thanks so much for making me feel at home in Rio ☺️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hidden gem with great service, coffee and ambience. The menu is refreshingly short and everything on it is good. Great for breakfast, for getting some work done in peace (thankfully the music is played quietly) and for meeting up with friends or colleagues. Daniel and the girls who work here are first rate. Oh and the coffee is everything you'd hope it would be.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Aussie Coffee is a really cute café with excellent caffeinated drinks and good working Wi-Fi. The owner Daniel was very nice to us, and made us feel at home. We had a delicious brunch: I got the quesadillas with beans, cheese, eggs and avocado, and my friend and partner got other tasty dishes. Highly recommend if you need a place to do some computer work in Ipanema or if you just want to relax for a minute and sip on a hot coffee. Hope to come back soon!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an AMAZING cafe, my favorite experience in Ipanema to have found this respite. Daniel and the staff are friendly, approachable, welcoming. The coffee is strong and the food is delicious!! The mandioca hashbrowns blew my mind. I fully recommend Aussie Coffee to everyone who likes a strong sense of community and great coffee.

I spent a week in Rio and was here often ?? I blame the coffee, the food, the sweets ? and the community ???? - because there is a community here and you will meet amazing people to share a moment, a conversation, a laugh. And if you’re lucky you might see Daniel roast coffee for the next day - always always fresh coffee and good vibes at Aussie Coffee☕️❣️
