I am a DJ so am normally very good at spotting this kind of thing but they are very good whoever did this. Shame as I loved the venue and the band was Amazing!!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worst bar i've ever seen. I would give 0 stars if i could! Really bad music and a bad service. The waitress asked 10 times for the same expensive offer. To go smoking outside you have to wait 10-15 minutes. In the end we left the bar after 1 hour. Outside we noticed, that one girl is missing. She had no phone with her so we asked if one of us can go in again and look for her. Even though her ID was still at the smoking exit they didn't allow and obvisously they also didn't care. What a awful staff!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fun atmosphere, local hangout, live Brazilian band, great sound system, dancing with amazing energy from the people. Drinks are fairly priced and there was a $R20 cover price which is $5 US. Well worth the experience.
It's a very festive busy area, definitely a must.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ BE CAREFUL!!! I was drugged pretty much immediately after entering. I thought it was one of the waiters that served me my drink - I wonder if they are cooperating with thugs. How I made it home alive and safe is a mystery to me. As soon as I started feeling funny, I left so perhaps I was able to evade my attacker. My memory is hazy, but I was definitely very confused and my short term memory was zapped (consistent with benzo side effects). When I made it back home I ended up throwing up in the taxi, and once again at my room. I had only 2 drinks before entering the Bar, but mixing alcohol and benzos is a potentially life threatening combination so I feel very lucky. The night could have ended much differently.
Sure enough, if you look at the comments you'll see I'm not the only other person that this has happened to at this venue.

Don't order cocktails...no alcohol in there...i had finished 4 caipirinhas and nothing...either I'm a solid alcoholic or there was just passion fruit juice with sugar...
