The quality of the food and service is very high compared to like establishments, the prices reasonable, and you could tell that it is one of the places where the regulars have their preferred seating and order placed before they enter. They have posted menu and printed menu in both Portuguese and English and have a fairly substantial breakfast-specific menu (these types of establishments generally only have paõ, coxhina, and sandwich).

This is one of the most traditional spots in town. Open 24 hrs per day, it gets all types of people. Workers, hipsters, people looking for a snack after clubbing… this is probably the most democratic restaurant in São Paulo. They’ve been open for decades - and the pork sandwich is the true star of the house. Juicy, meaty, hot and tasty, this is the perfect snack after a night out. Service is outstandingly quick, and the food is always fresh.
Forget the Bologna sandwich from Mercadão - you want to get the Sanduíche de Pernil.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You can’t come to São Paulo and not eat here. I actually ate here twice. I had the Sanduíche de Pernil and it was fire. The next day I was in the area and had the cone with meat inside and it was also good but not as good as the sandwich. I don’t speak Portuguese But they got me what I wanted. You sit down and order and when you’re done you walk to the counter with your paper slip and pay.
