★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Um bom local para relaxar de frente ao mar. Atendimento foi muito bom pelo garçom e os preços são muito caros. Não pela quantia monetária em si, pois os preços são razoáveis, mas pelo fato das porções serem ridículas de tão pequenas fazendo o custo-benefício ser pior que o de um restaurante sofisticado.
A good place to relax in front of the sea. Service was very good by the waiter and the prices are very expensive. Not because of the monetary amount itself, because the prices are reasonable, but because the portions are ridiculous because they are so small that the cost-benefit ratio is worse than that of a sophisticated restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ He comido hoy aquí y la verdad es que ha sido de película de los hermanos Marx :). Le doy al chiringuito tres estrellas porque, al final, todo ha salido bien. No me gusta dar detalles de las cosas negativas que me ocurren pues siempre pueden ser coincidencias pero digamos que uno de los camareros más jóvenes ha pedido un plato para mí sin haberme confirmado el precio (y quería cobrarme el precio del plato para dos personas), me han traído dos veces cerveza que yo no había pedido, me trajeron el plato principal sin los acompañantes (éstos llegaron mucho más tarde y porque otro camarero se dio cuenta), intentaron cobrarme dos veces (quiero decir que me trajeron dos veces la cuenta sin darse cuenta del error) y, para terminar, me trajeron las servilletas que había pedido cuando ya estaba pagando (y me estoy dejando algún detalle para no hacer esto demasiado largo).
En fin, que me he reído un montón. Uno de los camareros es el que ha puesto un poco de sensatez a la cosa... El sitio está bien de precio, por cierto. Una cosa negativa que no me gusta mucho es que tienen mesas hasta el agua. Cuando estás a este lado está muy bien, pero cuando lo que quieres es disfrutar de la playa... pues no hay arena libre.
I ate here today and the truth is that it was from a Marx Brothers movie :). I give the chiringuito three stars because, in the end, everything has turned out well. I do not like to give details of the negative things that happen to me because they can always be coincidences but let's say that one of the younger waiters has ordered a dish for me without having confirmed the price (and wanted to charge me the price of the dish for two people), They have brought me beer twice that I had not ordered, they brought me the main course without the accompaniments (these arrived much later and because another waiter noticed), they tried to charge me twice (I mean they brought me the bill twice without realize the mistake) and, to finish, they brought me the napkins that I had asked for when I was already paying (and I am leaving some detail to not make this too long).
Anyway, I've laughed a lot. One of the waiters is the one who has put a little sense to the thing ... The place is well priced, by the way. One negative thing that I don't really like is that they have tables down to the water. When you are on this side it is very good, but when what you want is to enjoy the beach ... well there is no free sand.

Comemos o camarão grelhado, mas não estava muito legal, estava sem tempero e com o gosto amargo, acredito que devido ao preparo. Os acompanhamentos estavam bons, arroz, farofa, vinagrete e vatapá. O preço é alto, mas dentro do esperado na região.
The place is well located with a great view. We were well taken care of by the waiters. We ate the grilled shrimp, but it wasn't very good, it had no seasoning and a bitter taste, I believe it was due to the preparation. The side dishes were good, rice, farofa, vinaigrette and vatapá. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A Barraca Garcia D'avila fica pé na areia na charmosa praia do forte, perto da igreja. O restaurante é amplo, fomos bem atendidos e a comida estava gostosa.
Barraca Garcia D'avila is right on the sand on the charming Praia do Forte, close to the church. The restaurant is large, we were well attended and the food was delicious.
