★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Em 1984, quando tinha 9 anos, tive contato pela primeira vez com um cartaz noticiando o concurso de ingresso para o Barra Branco. Ali nasceu um sonho que veio se realizar anos depois. Passados já 25 anos depois do ingresso na amada Polícia Militar paulista, todas as vezes que visito a casa mãe, renovo aquela emoção ao passar o Corpo da Guarda. Foram quatro breves anos de muito aprendizado, estudo e dedicação para poder desempenhar o melhor de mim e daqueles que estão junto em prol da comunidade paulista. Morrer..... se for preciso. Acredite, você fará isso. Escolher ser policial, é viver um sacerdócio. Doa-se muito. As amizades ali criadas são para uma vida inteira. Acredite! É assim. Tudo na invernada do Barro Branco respira a história paulista. O seu nome é em razão da argila branca existente nos veios de água. Agradeço a oportunidade de ter vivido essa história. Faria tudo de novo.
In 1984, when I was 9 years old, I had contact for the first time with a poster announcing the entrance contest for Barra Branco. There was born a dream that came to fruition years later. 25 years after joining the beloved São Paulo Military Police, every time I visit the mother house, I renew that emotion when passing the Guard Corps. It was four brief years of much learning, study and dedication to be able to perform the best of me and those who are together for the benefit of the São Paulo community. Die ..... if need be. Believe me, you will do this. Choosing to be a police officer is living a priesthood. It donates a lot. The friendships created there are for a lifetime. Believe! And so. Everything in the winter of Barro Branco breathes the history of São Paulo. Its name is due to the white clay in the water veins. I appreciate the opportunity to have lived this story. I would do it all again.

Depois fui Cadete.
Excelente escola, com todas as condições para a Formação do Oficial, instalações muito boas, ótimo parque de instruções de campo, instalações adequadas e ambiente acolhedor.
Havia um mito, de que Praças PM não eram bem tratados na Academia.
Mito! Eu era 1º Sargento, e fui muito bem recebido e orientado; nunca fui discriminado.
Trote? É claro que tem, mas é mais um conjunto de atividades de integração! Chega a ser divertido!
Deixei a Corporação precocemente, mas nunca me arrependi de ter passado pela "Escola de Comandantes".

Excellent school, with all the conditions for the Officer Training, very good facilities, great park of field instructions, adequate facilities and a welcoming atmosphere.
There was a myth that PM squares were not treated well at the Academy.
Myth! I was 1st Sergeant, and I was very well received and guided; I was never discriminated against.
Prank call? Of course there is, but it is another set of integration activities! It gets to be fun!
I left the Corporation early, but I never regretted going through the "School of Commanders".

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pensa num lugar que parece que você volta no tempo... Cercada por uma mata preservada e fechada, faz deste lugar um paraíso verde no meio da selva de pedra que é São Paulo. O prédio da Academia do Barro Branco é centenário e extremamente limpo e organizado. Há ainda um destacamento montado com vários cavalos, o que faz parecer que você está numa grande fazenda.
Think of a place that looks like you go back in time ... Surrounded by a preserved and closed forest, makes this place a green paradise in the middle of the stone jungle that is São Paulo. The Barro Branco Academy building is centuries old and extremely clean and organized. There is even a detached detachment with several horses, which makes it look like you are on a large farm.
