Home to the protector of Para, Our Lady of Nazareth (Nossa Senhora de Nazaré), central point of the greatest Catholic manifestation in the World, the Círio de Nazaré. The fest occurs every October, with its highest and most important procession happening every second October Sunday. A must see when in Belém.
