★ ★ ★ ★ ★ O batatela foi meu destino todos os domingos durante meses. Adoro o ambiente bem despojado de frente pra praça de casa forte. Os pasteis são muito bons, sequinhos e crocantes com massa fininha. As coxinhas de batata são deliciosas. Tudo frito na hora e não costuma demorar. As vezes tem umas filas longas e não tem mesas disponiveis, porém como fica numa galeria, sempre tem opções de onde sentar.
 The batatela was my destination every Sunday for months. I love the well-laid-back atmosphere in front of the main house square. The pasteis are very good, dry and crunchy with fineness. The potato wedges are delicious. All fried on the spot and will not be long. Sometimes there are long queues and there are no tables available, but as it is in a gallery, you always have options to sit down.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A loja fica localizada em uma galeria com mais uns 3 bares/lanchonetes. Tem dia que um DJ fazendo a festa tocando vinil. Bem top! Na batatela você pode encontrar coxinha, enroladinho, pastéis como carro chefe da casa. E espetinhos. Bem top mesmo. Preços convidativos.
The store is located in a gallery with over 3 bars / snack bars. There is a day when a DJ doing the party playing vinyl. Well top! In the potato you can find coxinha, rolled up, pastels as the flagship of the house. And skewers. Really top. Inviting prices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ O preço não justifica o sabor, as coxinhas e pastel são medianos. O açaí é horrível, parece um suco de tão ralo e ainda é sem sabor.
E o pior foi na hora de pegar sorvete, as caldas estavam vencidas, fazendo clientes consumirem produtos inadequados...
The price does not justify the taste, the drumsticks and pastries are average. The açaí is horrible, it looks like a juice that is so thin and still tasteless.
And the worst was when it was time to get ice cream, the syrups were expired, making customers consume inappropriate products ...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ótimo lugar e ambiente. As coxinhas são o ponto mais forte, juntamente com o pastel. Além de não demorarem tanto para o pedido ficar pronto.
Great place and ambience. The drumsticks are the strongest point, along with the pastel. Besides, it doesn't take so long for the order to be ready.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ O pastel de carne agora vem com um terço da carne que vinha antes. Fora que a moça que atende no caixa é simpática igual uma porta. Bons tempos em que Poli trabalhava aí, uma simpatia de pessoa e atendia muito bem.
Pastel de carne now comes with a third of the meat that came before. Besides, the girl who works at the checkout is as nice as a door. Good times when Poli worked there, a kindness of person and very good service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ O batatela costumava ser um local agradável e com um pastel bastante recheado e sem igual. Porém, desde que a pandemia começou a qualidade vem decaindo. O pastel que antes eu comia com cuidado para o recheio não cair, o que era uma delícia, agora tem 1/3 apenas de recheio. Quando a atendente era Polly, o local era alegre e tinha uma energia sem igual, depois que ela saiu, a atendente nova é tão simpática e leve como uma porta de igreja. Estou muito desapontada! O batatela era sempre minha primeira opção, agora virou a última! Lamentável !
The potato used to be a pleasant place and with a very filling and unique pastry. However, since the pandemic began, quality has been declining. The pastry that I used to eat carefully so that the filling doesn't fall out, which was a delight, now has only 1/3 of the filling. When the server was Polly, the place was cheerful and had a unique energy, after she left, the new server is as friendly and light as a church door. I am so disappointed! Potato was always my first choice, now it's my last! Unfortunate !
