★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pestana São Luís is a very large hotel in the city of São Luís. It's well located (far just 5 minutes away from the beach and 20 minutes by car from the airport), the building is old but large and spacious and the rooms are very comfortable. The hotel provides free wifi for multiple devices, laundry service, 24h room service and the breakfast is included in the fare. The room was very clean and spacious. The bed was ok, there was air conditining and a good amount of channels on the television. The wifi connection was enough for video and music streaming. You'll find a good swimming pool, tennis court and pool table in the recreation area. Good restaurants with brazilian food are close to the hotel, at the street of the beach. A very good choice to stay in São Luís!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice hotel. Beautiful garden and pool. Recommendation: If you get a room on the first floor, change to 4th. The rooms are newer, modern and far nicer (don't know about 2nd/3rd).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a bad time when put in a room right next a stage in their dependencies(I believe that they would have a show in the coming week). The construction sounds was terrible and they worked even during the evening. The service was just average and wasn't a good experience since employees were always talking really loud on the corridors... Couldn't relax at all. I've wrote my complaints to the manager but had no feedback. In other words, I would never recommend this place to a friend nor visit it again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great gardens and close to safe beach & bars. I can recommend this as a hotel to stay at during work trips. Pool is a great place to unwind at the end of the day with a few beers

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I enjoyed myself immensely. The staff was excellent and the maid service was good. Certain things were not provided like a room safe. But they the staff are eager for the guest to be comfortable. I also felt safe. I recommend this place if you desire you rest.
