Tem um funcionário extremamente atencioso, mas a gerência se recusa a manter um estoque dizendo que tem medo das escolas de idiomas mudarem o livro adotado e não terem como vender os livros que eventualmente tiverem lá. Fazem o pedido dos livros à medida que as pessoas os procuram, e anotam o nome numa lista para ligar quando o livro chegar, o que em geral demora mais de um mês. Atuam como um intermediário dispensável, uma vez que, se for para pedir um livro e esperar pela entrega, é melhor, mais rápido e mais barato pedir pela internet. Todos que eu conheço falam mal desta livraria. Se você for lá e não tiver a sorte de terem algum exemplar do livro que procura na loja, não caia na conversa de que "chega na semana que vem", porque vai demorar mais de um mês. Digo isso por experiência própria e de meus colegas.
Lousy bookstore. It has an extremely attentive employee, but management refuses to keep a stock saying that it is afraid that language schools will change the adopted book and will not be able to sell the books they eventually have there. They order books as people look for them, and write down the name on a list to call when the book arrives, which usually takes more than a month. They act as an unnecessary intermediary, since if it is to order a book and wait for delivery, it is better, faster and cheaper to order over the internet. Everyone I know speaks ill of this bookstore. If you go there and you are not lucky enough to have a copy of the book you are looking for in the store, do not fall into the conversation that "it will arrive next week", because it will take more than a month. I say this from my own experience and that of my colleagues.
