★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pará is the place to be in Caraíva after a long day at the beach. It gets packed around 4 (earlier depending on the season) as everyone plans for a good spot near the river to chill while the sun sets and start off the night well. Pastel de Arraia Cremosa is a must try and their drinks are good as well. The only reason for 4 stars is that everything here is cooked on the same oil so if you’re allergic to shrimp like my wife is, there’s literally -nothing- on the menu you can eat. We talked to the waitress and suggested them to add a second pot to cook as shrimp allergy is one of the most common on the planet and she said she’d talk to management but didn’t really think it was going to happen. A shame for such a good spot.
