★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the most fun club in Rio de Janeiro!! Live Samba music, Wednesday-Saturday. The band sits around a table and everyone is dancing and singing along to the music. It is a special place, in that there are poor and rich, old and young, straight and gay people of all races, from all parts of Rio, singing and dancing in a fun environment of cheerful good spirits. The Caipirinhas are strong, the beer is cold, the service is good. There is a full menu of typical Brazilian dishes, well made, not fancy. It should be a destination spot, for the music and good energy. There's no cover charge prices are reasonable.
