Ela foi "construída" (sim, foi moldada com cimento) para ter esse aspecto de praia, e por isso é rasa até metade e funda lá no meio, atendendo todos os públicos desde crianças até adultos. Com águas calmas e chão com areia fofa, é uma lugar super gostoso para passar uma tarde.
ATENCAO: Tem que pagar 10,00 por pessoa para entrar, por estar dentro da casa de um morador.
Waterfall super quiet to go with family and children. It was "built" (yes, it was molded with cement) to have this beach aspect, and so it is shallow up to half and sits there in the middle, catering to all audiences from children to adults. With calm waters and soft sand soil, it is a super yummy place to spend an afternoon.
ATTENTION: You must pay 10.00 per person to enter, for being inside a resident's house.

Fácil acesso.
Infraestrutura conta com banheiros, uma vendinha (simples com bebidas, salgadinhos, biscoito de polvilho, chocolate, paçoquinha...), mesa de sinuca, estacionamento.
Ótima pra nadar, água gelada, calma, com uma área bem rasa e mais funda.
A cachoeira de cima é linda para tirar fotos, mas proibida para banho.
A cachoeira está dentro de uma propriedade particular e é o sustento do morador, que vive lá mesmo.
Cobra-se o valor da entrada e não pode levar alimentos e bebidas de fora. Pagamento apenas em dinheiro. Não pega sinal telefônico (maioria das operadoras).
I have been in Areião since 2002 ... I am alone, with parents, husband, friends or children.
Easy access.
Infrastructure has toilets, a vendinha (simple with drinks, snacks, sprinkle cookies, chocolate, paçoquinha ...), pool table, parking.
Great for swimming, cold water, calm, with a very shallow and deeper area.
The waterfall above is beautiful for taking pictures, but forbidden for swimming.
The waterfall is inside a private property and is the livelihood of the resident, who lives there.
The entrance fee is charged and you can not take food and drinks from outside. Payment in cash only. Does not pick up a telephone signal (most carriers).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ O lugar é muito gostoso para ir: o banheiro é bem organizado e o lugar bem cuidado com duas cachoeiras (a outra precisa pegar uma trilha / está bem sinalizado ). Paga R$ 20 (em dinheiro) para entrar / não há opção de comida e bebida (e em dinheiro)
The place is very nice to go: the bathroom is well organized and the place is well maintained with two waterfalls (the other one needs to take a trail / it is well signposted). Pay R$ 20 (cash) to enter / there is no food and drink option (and in cash)
