★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A entrada custa R$5 e a cachoeira é enorme, com um visual excelente! Ótimo para relaxar na natureza. Lá dentro tem um restaurante para quem quiser almoçar e banheiro também. Parada obrigatória para quem estiver em Aldeia Velha.
Entrance costs R $ 5 and the waterfall is huge, with an excellent view! Great for relaxing in nature. Inside there is a restaurant for those who want to have lunch and a bathroom too. Mandatory stop for those in Aldeia Velha.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il faut aimer ces endroits difficiles d'accès, perdus dans la nature. Accueil sympathique. La patronne est d'origine allemande , mais ne la parlé pas. Repas de qualité. Les piscines naturelles ravissent les enfants et leurs parents. Gites entièrement neufs. Il faut y aller.
You have to love these hard-to-reach places, lost in nature. Friendly welcome. The owner is of German origin, but does not speak it. Quality meals. The natural pools delight children and their parents. Completely new cottages. We have to go.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cachoeira Macharet é o melhor lugar de Aldeia Velha. Perfeito para passar o dia e levar a família. São vários poços, então você pode escolher o seu cantinho e ficar tranquilamente. Pode levar seu dog, seu cooler e comida, mas tem restaurante que oferece comida caseira (R$ 28,00 sem balança), dentro do horário de almoço, tem pastel com caldo de cana e açai. O caminho para chegar na Macharet é tranquilo, tem uns pontos ruins, mas chegamos de carro baixo de boa. Tem uma bela subida depois da entrada da Cachoeira das Andorinhas, então vá de carro. Passei o carnaval de 2022 em Aldeia Velha, acampando na Aldeia do Bambu Camping e Chalés e foi maravilhoso. Recomendo.
Cachoeira Macharet is the best place in Aldeia Velha. Perfect for spending the day and taking the family. There are several wells, so you can choose your corner and stay calm. You can take your dog, your cooler and food, but there is a restaurant that offers homemade food (R$ 28.00 without scales), during lunch hours, there is pastel with sugarcane juice and açai. The way to get to Macharet is easy, it has some bad points, but we arrived with a good car. There is a beautiful climb after the entrance to Cachoeira das Andorinhas, so go by car. I spent the 2022 carnival in Aldeia Velha, camping at Aldeia do Bambu Camping and Chalés and it was wonderful. I recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excelente complexo de cachoeiras. Tem lanchonete, algumas suítes e é camping. Adoraria me hospedar lá, mas só contratando um transfer, pq mais do que a distância, o último 1,5 km é bem íngreme para subir com a bagagem. Acompanhe nossas aventuras lá no Facebook e Instagram.
Excellent waterfall complex. It has a snack bar, some suites and it's camping. I would love to stay there, but only hiring a transfer, because more than the distance, the last 1.5 km is very steep to go up with luggage. Follow our adventures on Facebook and Instagram.
