★ ★ ★ ★ ★ O Local é bonito. Um pouco difícil o acesso, principalmente se vier pela trilha da Fumaça a partir de Triunfo. De carro nem pensar. E o nome do local está equivocado. Este "Portal" foi feito após a abolição. Tem nada a ver com escravos.
The location is beautiful. A little difficult to access, especially if you come on the Fumaça trail from Triunfo. Car or think. And the name of the place is wrong. This "Portal" was made after the abolition. It has nothing to do with slaves.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fui por triunfo de moto e enfrentei muitas dificuldades, não há sinalização dizendo onde entrar para essa cachoeira, vindo de Trajano é bem mais facil de chegar, deixa o carro na antiga estação de Leitão da Cunha e vem andando na estrada que antes era a linha do trem, vai atravessar umas 5 ou 6 porteiras que ficam abertas e segue até achar umas plaquinhas decoradas, ali e só descer a trilha e dará nela. Por triunfo a gente consegue ver as escavações nas rochas para o trem passar. São várias e há outros túneis também além desse, porém esse é o mais bonito de todos!!!
I went by motorbike triumph and I faced many difficulties, there is no sign saying where to enter this waterfall, coming from Trajano it is much easier to get there, leave the car at the old Leitão da Cunha station and walk along the road that used to be the line from the train, you'll go through some 5 or 6 gates that are open and go on until you find some decorated signs, there and just go down the trail and you'll come to it. By triumph we can see the rock excavations for the train to pass. There are several and there are also other tunnels besides this one, but this one is the most beautiful of all!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Conheço o lugar há mais de 40 anos, realmente muito bonito, porém, NÃO TEM NADA COM ESCRAVOS, POIS FOI CONSTRUÍDO ENTRE 1890 E 1899.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Caminhada muito boa para se fazer com a família e amigos para contemplar a natureza. O caminho até a parte superior da ponte "túnel" é tranquila. O acesso a cachoeira e ao interior do túnel são os trechos que demanda maior cuidado daqueles que acessarem, pois se trata de um trecho muito ingrime. Mas eu recomendo está caminhada.
Very good walk to do with family and friends to contemplate nature. The path to the top of the "tunnel" bridge is quiet. Access to the waterfall and to the interior of the tunnel are the stretches that demand greater care from those who access it, as it is a very steep stretch. But I recommend this walk.
