★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tentamos chegar a partir da Rodovia Tancredo Neves, entrada para a estrada de terra a 16km a partir da Ponte Torta, perto da Igreja Bom Jesus dos Aflitos.
Mas a estrada é muito difícil se estiver usando veículo comum. A serra é íngreme em muitos trechos e tem curvas bem fechadas. Preferimos não continuar é só faltava menos de 3km...
We try to arrive from Tancredo Neves Highway, entrance to the dirt road 16km from Ponte Torta, near Bom Jesus dos Aflitos Church.
But the road is very difficult if using a regular vehicle. The mountain is steep in many sections and has very sharp curves. We prefer not to continue, it's only less than 3km away ...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cachoeira maravilhosa e linda! recomendo ir de manhã que é quando o sol está batendo nela. Acesso muuuito difícil. Carro normal não aguenta subir a trilha, você vai ter que estacionar no meio da pedreira e andar 4km a pé para encontrá-la. A subida é intensa, mas há uma bela vista durante o caminho. quando chega perto do local da cachoeira há uma decida bem íngreme pelas pedras. Melhor ir de tênis.
A maior parte da trilha é aberta, então leve protetor solar.
Wonderful and beautiful waterfall! I recommend going in the morning when the sun is beating down on it. Very difficult access. Normal car can't handle going up the trail, you'll have to park in the middle of the quarry and walk 4km to find it. The climb is intense, but there is a beautiful view along the way. when you get close to the waterfall there is a very steep descent through the rocks. Better go in tennis.
Most of the trail is open, so pack some sunscreen.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gosta de uma área onde a civilização não tem alcance o suficiente pra estragar tudo, apesar de algumas pessoas ainda derrubarem árvores e sujar o local com latas e arames, só pra ficar mais confortável sua "aventura" de acampar, o local ainda permanece um paraíso
Like an area where civilization doesn't have enough reach to screw it up, although some people still cut down trees and litter the place with cans and wires, just to make your camping "adventure" more comfortable, the place still remains a paradise
