História – Fundado em 1993 e inaugurado em 20 de setembro de 1996, tendo suas atividades iniciadas em 24 de fevereiro de 1997, pelo então Prefeito José Nelo Rodrigues (Zerinho). A este denominou: Escola Municipal da Educação Infantil e do Ensino Fundamental Antonio Tabosa Rodrigues (CAIC) em homenagem ao seu pai.
O CAIC foi construído através de um programa federal destinado a construção de Centros de Atendimentos Integrais as Crianças em todo o país. Com este intuito pensou-se em um espaço que pudesse atender a criança na formação educativa e no seu desenvolvimento integral.

History - Founded in 1993 and inaugurated on September 20, 1996, having its activities started on February 24, 1997, by the then Mayor José Nelo Rodrigues (Zerinho). He named it: Antonio Tabosa Rodrigues Municipal School of Early Childhood Education (CAIC) in honor of his father.
CAIC was built through a federal program designed to build Centers for Comprehensive Care for Children across the country. For this purpose, a space that could assist the child in educational training and in its integral development was thought of.
