★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ótima estrutura para camping, com banheiros, chuveiro quente, geladeira, tanque, postes e pontos de luz (tomadas) próximas a área das barracas.
Lugar lindo, de frente a Serra da Luz, próximo a muitas cachoeiras.
O casal Cássia e Geraldo, vulgo Ladinho, e sua família são uma atração à parte. Muito solícitos em tudo. Se tornaram nossos amigos muito facilmente. Auxiliaram-nos com empréstimos de cobertores, inclusive, já que não estávamos preparados para o frio que veio de repente devido às chuvas em Outubro.
Recomendo muitíssimo!
Great structure for camping, with bathrooms, hot shower, refrigerator, tank, poles and light points (outlets) near the tent area.
Beautiful place, facing Serra da Luz, close to many waterfalls.
The couple Cássia and Geraldo, aka Ladinho, and their family are an attraction in themselves. Very solicitous of everything. They became our friends very easily. They helped us with loans of blankets, even, as we were not prepared for the cold that came suddenly due to the rains in October.
I highly recommend it!

Poucas vezes na vida fui recepcionado tão Bem. SEM PALAVRAS NOTA 1000 RECOMENDO A TODOS VIVER ESSA EXPERIÊNCIA.
It was a surreal experience. The owners and the place are very simple but cozy and WITH A BREATHTAKING VIEW, the Owners, in addition to being attentive, are a well of love and affection. Few times in my life have I been welcomed so well. WITHOUT WORDS NOTE 1000 I RECOMMEND EVERYONE TO LIVE THIS EXPERIENCE.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dona Cássia e Seu Ladinho (Geraldo) nos atenderam muito bem! Super gentis, nos trouxeram cafezinho no dia seguinte pela manhã (feito por ela, uma delícia e muito diferente dos cafés que compramos pronto) e nos ofereceram a cama do quartinho do quintal para nao dormirmos na barraca debaixo de chuva.
Banheiro com água quente (diferencial dos campings) e nos disseram que estão planejando construir um cozinha comunitária. O terreno para as barracas é enorme e o chão bem retinho. A vista é maravilhosa para as montanhas.
Fica pertinho do centro e da cachoeira Paredão.
Dona Cássia and Seu Ladinho (Geraldo) served us very well! Super kind, they brought us coffee the next day in the morning (made by her, delicious and very different from the coffees we buy ready) and they offered us the bed in the little room in the backyard so we wouldn't sleep in the tent in the rain.
Bathroom with hot water (different from the campsites) and we were told that they are planning to build a communal kitchen. The land for the tents is huge and the floor is very flat. The view is wonderful towards the mountains.
It is close to the center and the Paredão waterfall.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Se hospedar no Camping Sítio dos Coqueiros foi uma experiência muito gratificante. Há formosas colinas ao redor, tornando o local muito belo. Além disso, a localização é excelente, muito próxima da cidade - poucos metros pela estrada de terra (sentido Carrancas) e já se chega no local. Pagamos R$ 35 por pessoa para acampar (uma noite).
Há um grande campo para armar as barracas, rodeado por algumas mesas e frutíferas, e uma pequena casinha com dois banheiros, feminino e masculino, e um quarto. Também tem uma geladeira, caso precise. Em um futuro próximo, uma cozinha compartilhada será construída.
Além disso, é possível também se hospedar em uma kitnet. Ao lado dessa kitnet tem um barzinho e piscina com água pura, direto da colina.
Os anfitriões Sr. Ladinho e Sra. Cássia foram gentis e nos receberam muito bem. Choveu forte antes do anoitecer, e como havíamos armado barraca e estávamos sozinhos lá, ofereceram um quarto para passarmos a noite. Nos ofereceram um delicioso café caipira pela manhã e até leite fresco, tirado ali mesmo. Eles são muito humildes e receptivos.
Se for para São Thomé das Letras, não deixe de conhecer Luminárias, e, se for para Luminárias, o camping Sítio dos Coqueiros é o local para se hospedar!
Staying at Camping Sítio dos Coqueiros was a very rewarding experience. There are beautiful hills all around, making the place very beautiful. In addition, the location is excellent, very close to the city - a few meters along the dirt road (towards Carrancas) and you are already there. We paid R$35 per person to camp (one night).
There is a large field to pitch the tents, surrounded by some tables and fruit trees, and a small house with two bathrooms, male and female, and a bedroom. It also has a fridge if you need it. In the near future, a shared kitchen will be built.
In addition, it is also possible to stay in a kitnet. Next to this kitnet there is a bar and a swimming pool with pure water, straight from the hill.
The hosts Mr. Ladinho and Mrs. Cássia were kind and received us very well. It rained heavily before nightfall, and as we had pitched a tent and were alone there, they offered us a room for the night. We were offered a delicious country coffee in the morning and even fresh milk, taken right there. They are very humble and welcoming.
If you go to São Thomé das Letras, be sure to visit Luminárias, and if you go to Luminárias, Sítio dos Coqueiros camping is the place to stay!
