We waited +45 minutes for their so-called bruschetta, which was basically just two pieces of bread with a lot of cheese and a few pieces of tomato, and a veggie plate with “falafel” which had nothing to do with real falafel

Manager was extremely rude when I asked for a straw. Every employee had their masks off but she turned on the AC insisting it was covid protocol, even though it was a cold and rainy night.

We ordered Falafel as a starter, with Hummus instead of Yogurt sauce and he served the Falafel with mustard(?!). I ordered a Taboulé which consisted of 70% raw vegetables (cabbage, tomatoes and onions) without a sauce, and also came without the homemade toast which was mentioned in the menu (and the next morning, I knew why it tasted a bit weird). We also ordered vegan moqueca which was way overpriced for how bland it tasted. To round it all up, the waiter put on the whole tip even though we twice told him the amount we want to pay. The only good thing about this place is the amazing location.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good service and really nice place close to the sea but when you seat at a restaurant you're looking for a good food experience. We ordered octopus which was very good, but the escondidinho and the fish and sea food ceviche were poor quality. But the worst dish was the lemon rissoto: dry, bland and lack of ingredients. It would have passed more for an ordinary white rice side dish than a proper risotto. Besides I found it quite expensive compared with the average rates of the island. Very disappointing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It couldn't be worse! I asked for a Mushroom Risotto to take away. The waiter charged me the service fee for no reason because I didn't eat at the place and he didn't serve me anything. After my payment, he said that he forgot to charge me the packaging fee which, according to the Brazilian Consumer Defense Code (Artigo 39, V Código de Defesa do Consumidor), this practice is an improper charge. I tried to explain that this was an illegal practice to the owner of the restaurant and she said that it is a practice in Rio, however, in the restaurants next door, no one charged us this fee. When I opened the package at the hotel to start eating, I was much more upset. There were no mushrooms and it was very salty, that is, I basically paid dearly for rice. I was so angry that my hunger went away, I wasted money for nothing and I definitely don't recommend this place to anyone!
