★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An excellent steakhouse in a touristy area with a surprisingly local vibe. Friendly wait staff and great food. Drinks are a bit pricey relative to the menu but dinner for two was only around $50us. We were the only Americans in the place but that’s not a bad thing. Would definitely go back, especially if staying in the Copacabana area. Only a short walk/Uber to most of the major hotels. They’re also open late we are around 9pm

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yummy and mouthwatering steaks.Moreover you can drink national Brazilian vodka called Ca chata which is made of sugar cane. Plus the waiters are fast and efficient. I do recommend this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed in Copa for 11 days. We ate here 6x. It was our favorite meal BY FAR. The service is amazing, the buffet is great. The meats are super good. Even the sushi is good (which is rare for buffet). The owner is very nice and also asked us if we wanted to try special orders from the kitchen such as special sushi and sashimi. We will miss this restaurant as our favorite part of Copa.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was the best restaurant overall. The price was excellent as well as the food, service, and atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes churrasco. There is a buffet of other items, but that is not what we went there for.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ $60 US for two people or about R$215. So worth it! If you want to have one expensive meal while in Rio, have it here! There is a buffet to get all you can eat sides and then wait staff come around with meat on sticks and you can say yes or no to the meat. There is also a little token you flip on the table green for more meat and red for no more. Sometimes English names for the meat is unavailable, but you can try just a little and see if you like it. Everything we had was fresh and tasty. This would probably cost $100 per person in the USA. Enjoy!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really good people and the steak was to die for. Different cuts coming, some chicken, pork, even chicken hearts once, little sausages, but MANY types of beef including garlic. Absolutely a delight to go to, salad bar meticulously kept up that ahs more than salad, service with a smile and tried to please us. We liked it so much I have been there 3 times already even before the week ended as tourists here. It was about $15 US a person without drinks if I remember, SUPER WELL worth it and frankly I got a few drinks and I think dessert was extra, but well prepared to boot. I gave some extra money too on the included 10% service charge as it was well deserved. Whatever we needed we got and about a block from where the beach starts. HIGHLY recommend and WELL EARNED 5 stars!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had my dinner here at Carretão. I opt for buffet that includes a variety of grilled beef, sausage, seafood, and chicken viands. There's no need for reservations. You can just walk in. In May 2022, the buffet cost me 100 BRL and a bottle of red wine for approximately 70 BRL plus tax. Overall, the dining experience was superb. The service from the gentlemen and his managers or supervisors Clodomir and Francisco are beyond my expectations. If you're a tourist and on a budget with lots of cravings. Carretão is the right place. You can spend the night and watch football here. It's near Copacabana beach. I'm a Filipina in Rio de Janeiro.
