★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Um lugar de muito bom gosto, vendas de artesanato, roupas, peças decoração e tem o café da Casa Castanho lá também. Indico muito e só entra com o comprovante de vacinas.
 A very tasteful place, selling handicrafts, clothes, decoration pieces and there is also the Casa Castanho café. I highly recommend and only enter with proof of vaccinations.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fui no café e não estava muito cheio mas havia 3 meses com turistas. Ficamos sentados um tempão sem ser atendidos e depois da garçonete passar pela gente sem nos atender pela 4 vez, levantamos e fomos embora. Somos um casal negro e sofremos racismo claramente. Informei aos funcionários a razão da minha saida e não pediram desculpas nem tentaram contornar a situação. Não voltamos mais!!!
I went to the cafe and it wasn't very crowded but there were 3 months with tourists. We sat for a long time without being served and after the waitress passed us without serving us for the 4th time, we got up and left. We are a black couple and we clearly suffer racism. I informed the employees the reason for my departure and they did not apologize or try to work around the situation. We won't be back!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Comi o bolo de rapadura e o pão de queijo na forma de waffle, o bolo até que é bom, mas não gostei do pão de queijo e pior ainda não comi crocante por conta do atendimento q não foi bom, meu pedido ja estava pronto mas ficou um tempo no balcão da cozinha o que fez o pão transpirar e não ficar crocrante. Odiei o atendimento, não tiveram preocupação em saber a ordem de chegada dos clientes
I ate the brown sugar cake and the cheese bread in the waffle form, the cake is even good, but I didn't like the cheese bread and even worse I didn't eat the crispy because of the service that was not good, my order was already ready but it sat on the kitchen counter for a while, which made the bread perspire and not get crispy. I hated the service, they didn't care to know the order of arrival of the customers

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fácil localização, amplo, espaço com colabs, vestuário e alimentação, bom atendimento/recepção, decorado com muita arte, vista linda. Vinculado com a cafeteria Casa Castanho. (Não tenho muito o que falar pois não consumir, só fui para conhecer).
Easy location, spacious, space with colabs, clothing and food, good service/reception, decorated with lots of art, beautiful view. Linked to the Casa Castanho coffee shop. (I don't have much to say because I didn't consume it, I just went to know it).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was looking for the Casa de Jorge Amado museum and got lost but found this great shop. The shop is awesome with very unique jewelry, art, photographs, chocolates and most importantly clothes. The young man at the shop was so helpful and spoke very good amount of English - much appreciated since my Portuguese is horrible.
I found a beautiful dress and necklace. Will try to visit again before I leave town.

The owners are super nice and they helped me pick out a few shirts. I loved everything in the store.
