Há passeios clássicos e também rotas inovadoras para qualquer idade e nível de dificuldade, o que é muito legal. Tem aventuras para crianças e também para qualquer aventureiro muito experiente. Eles possuem uma amola diversidade de equipamento (lancha, caiaques, Jeep, bicicleta, etc), para atender aia mais diversos públicos. O Felipe Lima é um guia experiente, que preza pela segurança, além de ser uma pessoa muito gente fina e que se desenrola nos maia variados idiomas! O endereço citado é da agência física da Casa da Aventura, que é um lounge showroom. Esta operadora possui também uma agência virtual e atendimento online eficiente. É o guia nota mil!!
I am a resident of Paraty and whenever I want to explore new places I count on Casa da Aventura. There are classic tours and also innovative routes for any age and level of difficulty, which is really cool. It has adventures for children and also for any very experienced adventurer. They have a wide range of equipment (speedboat, kayaks, Jeep, bicycle, etc.), to serve more diverse audiences. Felipe Lima is an experienced guide, who values safety, in addition to being a very fine person who plays in many different languages! The address quoted is the physical agency of Casa da Aventura, which is a lounge showroom. This operator also has a virtual agency and efficient online service. It is the thousand note guide !!

Felipe e Daniel organizam um passeio de primeira classe com explicações sobre a natureza e a história do lugar além de um curso rápido em canionismo. Foi um dia perfeito com decidas livres, rapel, corrimão e pulos com a maior segurança. Realmente um passeio fantástico.
Professional guides with a lot of knowledge of the region and its culture, great for getting to know Paraty. I strongly recommend. Felipe and Daniel organize a first-class tour with explanations about the nature and history of the place, as well as a short course in canyoneering. It was a perfect day with free decisions, abseiling, handrails and jumping with the greatest safety. A really fantastic tour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you’re visiting Paraty, do yourself a favor and book at LEAST a day with Felipe and Casa de Aventura. At first I thought it was a little on the expensive side (I initially imagined a couple hrs with a group), but I had no idea what I was getting for my money. At 9am, Felipe and Chico (freelancer) picked myself, my son (12) and his mom up from our hotel in their 83’ land cruiser and drove us an hour and a half into the rainforest. On the trip out, they both spoke proficient English and had a genuine desire to share sites, wildlife, and history of the region with us. It wasn’t until then that I realized I had booked a totally private tour for the day. Once we arrived at our launching point, they took half an hour to inflate the rafts and give safety instructions and then we were off. Chico mainly scouted ahead and served as a safety precaution downstream while Felipe captained the raft with the three of us. We stopped multiple times between rapids for strategic rests (it’s hard work!), but they seemlessly took advantage of the breaks to hike up to some 18th century “ruins” reclaimed by the rainforest, to jump off a rock and swim a little, and to build rock towers and recharge with a giant Hershey bar (again there’s rhyme to their reason as we really used the energy boost). Felipe tricked us into flipping the raft for fun (in a safe spot) and Chico even took my son on his small boat for a stretch of the rapids. We capped things off by resting at a little homestead where a wonderful matriarch served us this amazing homemade melon slushy juice, bread, cake and coffee. These guys were fantastic with my son and a pleasure for us adults, as well. By the time we got back into town, it had become a whole day’s exclusive excursion. If you’re considering these guys, dont make the same mistake we did and book them on your last day in town. It took every sense of reason we had not to change travel plans and stay in Paraty so that Felipe and Chico could share more of this jewel of a region with us. These two were first class all the way.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Felipe takes advantage of foreigners!! If you don’t speak Portuguese he will massively overcharge you!!! I planned some tours in advance with Felipe, the owner of Casa Adventures. The prices seem high but Felipe seemed honest and offered a small discount. Upon arriving to Paraty we went to the boat docks and asking around. We found that the price for my family to go sailing for the day with lunch included was only R$300. for the exact same boat, Felipe charged us R$1900 with his little discount!!! Same with rafting. I found a company to take my family white water rafting for R$1500. Felipe charged us R$2600. To make matters worse he refused to give us back our R$1,225 deposit. I felt cheated and taken advantage of. When I asked Felipe about the price difference he did not deny it. He takes advantage of people who do not speak Portuguese and cannot get proper information for themselves. Do not trust him and do not book a tour with him!
