★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Essa casa foi construída para ser moradia do engenheiro da linha férrea que foi inaugurada no inicio do século 20. Com o passar dos anos, a ferrovia foi privatizada e a casa ficou abandonada por muito tempo. Hoje ela foi restaurada pela prefeitura e é sede da Secretaria Municipal de Cultura de Formiga, além de ser um belo cenário para fotografias.
This house was built to be the residence of the railway engineer, which was inaugurated at the beginning of the 20th century. Over the years, the railway was privatized and the house was abandoned for a long time. Today, it has been restored by the city and is the headquarters of the Municipal Department of Culture of Formiga, in addition to being a beautiful setting for photographs.

During this pandemic (COVID-19), the side porch and parking lot of the Casa do Engenheiro has served us well to pray and worship the Lord in a special model of "Worship in the Car". The Independent Baptist Church of Formiga thanks the Municipal Administration for promptly granting our request in times of crisis and social isolation!
