★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lugar metido a besta. Fui fazer reserva e precisava pagar 50 reais que "poderiam ser descontados de consumação, se eu quisesse". Me enviou um textao imenso com um milhão de regras, dentre elas "não pode entrar de roupa de banho"... na casa DO MAR? Me poupem.. um desaforo com o mar!
 Stupid place. I went to make a reservation and needed to pay 50 reais that "could be deducted from consummation, if I wanted to". He sent me a huge text with a million rules, among them "you can't enter in a bathing suit"... at the DO MAR house? Spare me.. a displeasure with the sea!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pensa em lugar mágico…Pensou ?? Casa do Mar é esse lugar!!! Pra mim sem dúvidas é o melhor restaurante de Rio das Ostras. Os drinks são perfeitos, amo a comida os garçons sempre muito atenciosos. Me sinto em casa naquele lugar! Super recomendo !
Think of a magical place…Thought ?? Casa do Mar is this place!!! For me it is without a doubt the best restaurant in Rio das Ostras. The drinks are perfect, I love the food and the waiters are always very attentive. I feel at home in that place! I highly recommend it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cheguei de última hora mas deu pra apreciar um drink com a paisagem exuberante de um cenário bastante aconchegante com atendimento acolhedor. Voltarei com certeza. Dica: ir no almoço ou antes do por-do-sol; tomar um carro até o local.
I arrived at the last minute but I was able to enjoy a drink with the exuberant landscape in a very cozy setting with welcoming service. I will be back for sure. Tip: go at lunch or before sunset; take a car to the location.

O atendimento é bom, a cerveja é gelada e os drinks estão sempre nos convidando a bebe-los. O anfitriões são gentis, cordiais, empáticos e demonstram sempre quererem o melhor serviço para você. A gastronomia é mais um componente à altura da casa. Recomendo!!! Ahhhh... mas, antes, faça a sua reserva.
The place is fantastic!!! It has a fabulous view, which further enhances the atmosphere, simple and refined at the same time. The service is good, the beer is cold and the drinks are always inviting us to drink them. The hosts are kind, cordial, empathetic and always show that they want the best service for you. The gastronomy is another component worthy of the house. I recommend!!! Ahhhh... but first, make your reservation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Adorei a Casa do Mar. Por sorte, eu e meu marido conseguimos entrar, sem fazer reserva. A gente não sabia que precisava fazer reserva antes.
A paisagem da Praia Virgem e o contato com a vegetação de restinga fazem desse lugar muito especial. Você almoça vendo a praia e ouvindo os passarinhos. Como não há nada perto e a casa recebe só com reserva, o local é muito calmo e tranquilo.
Há várias partes diferentes da casa onde estão as mesas, então, dependendo de onde você se senta, tem uma vista completamente diferente.
A Casa do Mar é de fato a casa da família que administra o restaurante de cozinha intimista e, isso faz do lugar ainda mais interessante.
Gostamos muito do atendimento e também da comida. O bolinho de bacalhau é perfeito. A paella de frutos do mar também é muito saborosa, só não gostamos muito da apresentação do prato porque tinha alface picada em cima. Eu nunca tinha comido antes uma paella com alface picada em cima e achei estranho. Mas, o prato é saboroso.
I loved Casa do Mar. Luckily, my husband and I managed to get in without booking. We didn't know we needed to make a reservation first.
The landscape of Praia Virgin and the contact with the restinga vegetation make this place very special. You have lunch watching the beach and listening to the birds. As there is nothing close by and the house is only accessible by reservation, the place is very calm and peaceful.
There are several different parts of the house where the tables are, so depending on where you sit, you have a completely different view.
Casa do Mar is in fact the home of the family that runs the intimate cuisine restaurant and this makes the place even more interesting.
We really liked the service and also the food. The codfish cake is perfect. The seafood paella is also very tasty, we just didn't like the presentation of the dish because it had chopped lettuce on top. I had never had paella with chopped lettuce on top of it before and found it strange. But, the dish is tasty.
