★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Belíssima construção com um design muito moderno e arquitetônico, vim na cidade passear e gostei muito de visitar a catedral com toda sua imponência na região, sendo destaque da praça e todo seu entorno. Não consegui ver o interior pq estava fechada, mas observei algumas fotos que fizeram. Em tempos de Natal a praça fica decorada com temas natalinos muito bonitos.
Beautiful building with a very modern and architectural design, I came to the city for a walk and I really enjoyed visiting the cathedral with all its grandeur in the region, highlighting the square and its surroundings. I could not see the interior because it was closed, but I observed some photos that they made. At Christmas time the square is decorated with very beautiful Christmas themes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nossa Catedral é muito bonita!! Observação: O fato de, historicamente, a antiga, ter sido demolida, faz com que as pessoas ainda sejam saudosas do tipo e modelo de construção da outra e sempre comparar, recordando dos fatos, à época, ocorridos... Mas, nem existe comparação! A outra era antiga e a atual, muito moderna até para a época, em que foi construída!!
De minha parte, crescí frequentando a Catedral: Ela é bem grande! A acústica me chamou a atenção sempre, pois dava muito eco, quando não havia microfones, nem caixas acústicas... Logo na Entrada, impressiona o Altar, mas nas laterais direita e esquerda, temos as Imagens/Esculturas de Nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo com a Cruz com Nossa Senhora das Dores. Numa parede lateral tem um Quadro em honra à Santa Paulina que morou em Bragança Paulista de 1909 a 1918 (a qual, sou Devota) e uma Imagem de Nossa Senhora Aparecida numa cúpula de vidro, ambas, com o Velário eletrônico moedeiro. (Doe, por gentileza!). Os Quadros laterais diretamente nas paredes, com as passagens da vida de CRISTO, pintados por Justino da Redenção, com um "Cristo - Homem moderno" são verdadeiras obras de arte. As paredes com texturas onduladas e arqueadas também são modelos muito diferentes!! A parte de cima, do teto, branco, é como se fosse uma grande "nave"... Muito interessante!!
Enfim, o Altar "semi - arredondado" com as paredes revestidas por materiais super diferentes, como se fossem "latas" de "cobre/bronze" é incrível, com o piso todo de granito e a Mesa do Altar e o púlpito de mármore!! E, os Vitrais em frente à Capela do Santíssimo são belíssimos! E o próprio Sacrário, bem moderno é um lugar bem aconchegante para as orações! Na Catedral, foi realizada a minha 1a. Comunhão, hoje, pronuncía-se 1a. Eucaristia e também minha Crisma. E, na parte de baixo, na Cripta da Catedral é um local também muito lindo que vale a pena visitar!! Na Cripta, tínhamos Encontro de Jovens, mesa de ping pong, cantávamos e muitas outras atividades!! Até meados da década de 89, era ponto de encontro marcado da Juventude!! A nossa Catedral é uma das mais lindas e modernas do interior de São Paulo!! Na Pandemia, ela está aberta para Oração e Visitação. Conheça! É um ótimo "Atrativo Turístico"... Adoorooo!!!

For my part, I grew up attending the Cathedral: It is quite big! The acoustics always caught my attention, because it gave a lot of echo, when there were no microphones or speakers ... Right at the Entrance, the Altar is impressive, but on the right and left sides, we have the Images / Sculptures of Our Lord Jesus Christ with the Cross with Our Lady of Sorrows. On a side wall there is a painting in honor of Santa Paulina who lived in Bragança Paulista from 1909 to 1918 (which I am a devotee) and an image of Nossa Senhora Aparecida in a glass dome, both with the electronic coin purse. (Donate, please!). The lateral pictures directly on the walls, with the passages of the life of CHRIST, painted by Justino da Redenção, with a "Christ - modern man" are true works of art. The walls with wavy and arched textures are also very different models !! The top part of the ceiling, white, is like a big "ship" ... Very interesting !!
Finally, the "semi - rounded" altar with the walls covered with super different materials, as if they were "cans" of "copper / bronze" is incredible, with the entire granite floor and the table of the altar and the marble pulpit! ! And, the stained glass windows in front of the Chapel of the Santissimo are beautiful! And the very modern Tabernacle is a very cozy place for prayers! In the Cathedral, my 1st was held. Communion today is pronounced 1st. Eucharist and also my Confirmation. And, at the bottom, in the Crypt of the Cathedral is also a very beautiful place that is worth visiting !! In the Crypt, we had a Youth Meeting, a ping pong table, we sang and many other activities !! Until the mid-89s, it was a meeting point for Youth !! Our Cathedral is one of the most beautiful and modern in the interior of São Paulo !! In Pandemic, it is open to Prayer and Visitation. Get to know it! It's a great "Tourist Attraction" ... Adoorooo !!!
