★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Havia acabado de me formar em Pedagogia aos 62 anos quando uma colega da Faculdade Italo, Débora, me ligou perguntando se eu gostaria de começar a trabalhar na Educação imediatamente, bastando apenas me apresentar na segunda feira seguinte com todos os documentos. Assim o fiz, e fui admitido como professor pela primeira vez. Logo percebi que não éra meu perfil, durei apenas 30 dias. As queixas das colegas eram constantes, pois, eu não podia dar banho nem trocar fraudas apenas tocar violão e cantar cantigas de roda para os nenéns. Viviam agarrados na minha perna, choravam e me pediam colo. Experiência inesquecível, meus eternos agradecimentos a Débora, a CEI RANC e em especial a Professora Rosângela que ao me demitir não se conteve em lágrimas. Sabíamos, todos, que eu não podia estar ali, meu lugar é onde estou agora, lecionando para o fundamental l , ll e anos finais.
I had just graduated in Pedagogy at the age of 62 when a colleague from Faculdade Italo, Débora, called me asking if I would like to start working in Education immediately, all I had to do was show up on the following Monday with all the documents. I did so, and was admitted as a teacher for the first time. I soon realized it wasn't my profile, I only lasted 30 days. The complaints from colleagues were constant, because I could not bathe or change dresses, just play the guitar and sing circle songs for the babies. They lived clinging to my leg, crying and asking to be held. Unforgettable experience, my eternal thanks to Débora, the CEI RANC and especially to Professor Rosângela who, when I resigned, could not contain her tears. We all knew I couldn't be there, my place is where I am now, teaching elementary, ll, and final years.
