Na área externa a calçada se encontra em estado lastimável, pois além da ação do tempo e a ausência de manutenção, por parte do poder publico, próximo ao portão de entrada, o calçamento quebrado cede espaço para um enorme amontoado de lixo e chorume.
No interior do cemitério se encontra em exposição o mato, que toma conta das alamedas e dos túmulos, a sujeira, deixada pelos frequentadores, e mais uma infinidade de problemas, que vão de túmulos quebrados a ação de marginais, dependendo do horário, completam o quadro de abandono.
