Não há policiamento frequente,a guarda municipal embora tenha um posto na praça Nilo Peçanha ( que é grande ),não circula pela mesma com frequência,várias pessoas em situação de rua e muitos pedintes. Várias brigas entre moradores de rua , muito consumo de bebidas alcoólicas e drogas entre eles.
Today it is quite dangerous. There is no frequent policing, although the municipal guard has a post in Nilo Peçanha Square (which is large), it does not circulate frequently, several people on the streets and many beggars. Several fights between homeless people, a lot of alcohol and drug consumption among them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ein schönes kleines Städtchen 2 Stunden von Rio entfernt in den bergen mit vielen Geschäften zum Klamotten kaufen. Auch viele kleine Restaurants mit guten Essen. Alles sehr preiswert. Ich habe zwei wunderschöne Shorts mit 30% Rabatt gekauft
A nice little town 2 hours from Rio in the mountains with lots of shops to buy clothes. Also many small restaurants with good food. Everything very cheap. I bought two beautiful shorts with a 30% discount
