★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Não atende telefone! Como podemos pegar informação se estão recebendo animais ou o pegar alguma orientação se não atendem! Estou tentando há 3 dias e nada! Pelo jeito é abandonado!
 Don't answer the phone! How can we get information if they are receiving animals or get some guidance if they don't answer! I've been trying for 3 days and nothing! Apparently it's abandoned!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Desrespeito com os animais e com o cidadão. Simplesmente eles não estão mais recebendo animais silvestres e não há outra entidade na cidade a quem vc possa recorrer. Se vc encontrou um animal, a opção que lhes dão é abandona-lo em algum matagal. DESRESPEITO COM O MEIO AMBIENTE
Disrespect for animals and the citizen. They are simply no longer receiving wild animals and there is no other entity in the city that you can turn to. If you have found an animal, the option you are given is to abandon it in some scrub. DISRESPECT TO THE ENVIRONMENT

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Uma vergonha! É uma semana tentando para ser atendido e quando atendem, ficam repassando para outros locais a entrega de animais silvestres. Um empurrando para o outro e nada é resolvido. Será que os políticos "defensores" de animais não olham para a nossa fauna?? Ou só para animal doméstico???? Indignado!
A shame! It's a week trying to be served and when they do, they pass on the delivery of wild animals to other places. One pushing towards the other and nothing is resolved. Don't animal advocates look at our fauna? Or just for pets ???? Outraged!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cheguei lá com um animal selvagem para que fizessem o procedimento devido e os funcionários do ibama se negaram a receber dizendo que a negativa era em razão de ofício por conta da pandemia. Perguntei então o que devia fazer e se podia soltar o animal num descampado. Me ameaçou dizendo que era crime de abandono. Daí disse que se ele não recebesse ele que cometeria o crime de prevaricação, visto que não queria realizar o trabalho para o qual era pago. Só após muuuuita confusão ele decidiu receber o animal. Apesar da confusão administrativa, vi que lá tem profissionais excelentes, capacitados e que os animais são muito bem cuidados. Fiquei feliz pelo animal que fui lá entregar pois sei que vai ser bem cuidado.
I arrived there with a wild animal so that they could do the proper procedure and IBAMA officials refused to receive it saying that the refusal was due to an official because of the pandemic. I then asked what I should do and if I could release the animal in a field. He threatened me saying it was a crime of neglect. Then he said that if he did not receive him he would commit the crime of malfeasance, since he did not want to do the work for which he was paid. Only after much confusion did he decide to receive the animal. Despite the administrative confusion, I saw that there are excellent, trained professionals there and that the animals are very well taken care of. I was happy for the animal that I went there to deliver because I know it will be well taken care of.

Today on 7/16/21 I went to the place to deliver a tortoise that I got….I was very well attended, I thought it was well organized….I just have to thank for having a place where we can safely leave this type of animal…

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tive que ir ao IBAMA entregar os meus dois cágados e eles foram bem recebidos. Acredito que tenham sido bem cuidados também antes de voltarem pra natureza.
I had to go to IBAMA to deliver my two tortoises and they were well received. I believe they were also well taken care of before returning to nature.

Excellent service, I got in touch to find out if I could take a baby bird that fell in my backyard, and the attendant Paula served me divinely well, I sent an email formalizing the situation and went to leave the bird that had a broken wing :/ I believe it is in good hands, very attentive staff.
