★ ★ ★ ★ ★ O prédio da Prefeitura Municipal de Piranhas, além de abrigar a parte administrativa da cidade possui uma linda fachada que nos remete a história. Foi palco de uma das mais conhecidas passagens histórica do povo nordestino, a exposição das cabeças dos integrantes do bando de Lampião.
The Piranhas City Hall building, besides housing the administrative part of the city has a beautiful facade that reminds us of history. It was the scene of one of the best known historical passages of the northeastern people, the exhibition of the heads of the members of the Lampião band.

Saindo eu e minha família do passeio no rio Sāo Francisco, nesta tarde de sábado, tivemos uma desagradável surpresa, fomos acometidos num acidente de carro ao passar na avenida p/ olho d'água. Rasgamos dois pneus do carro ao cair num buraco na via mencionada, situaçāo que nāo condiz com a estada na cidade. Até o momento todos estavam maravilhados com a hospedagem em Piranhas. Fica registrado o nosso descontentamento.
Mr Mayor of Piranhas, good afternoon! Leaving me and my family on the walk on the river Sāo Francisco, this Saturday afternoon, we had an unpleasant surprise, we were involved in a car accident when passing in the avenue for the water. We ripped two tires from the car when it fell into a hole in the aforementioned road, a situation that does not match the stay in the city. So far everyone was delighted with the accommodation in Piranhas. Our discontent is recorded.
