The Kiteschool is located directly at the beach and the have really professional and super friendly staff there. I can highly recommend the kiteschool. And even if there is no wind around the corner at the Copacabana...Tijuca is windy.
I have had a beautiful downwinder along the costline together with the kite teacher. Thanks a lot for making my day :)!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This wave spot is amazing !!! I learned to Kitesurf there back in 2005 with a C Kite (ouch!!) but I manage to survive , since then they became more and more professional and the beach club developed a lot .
The Kite school is amazing with loads of gear and plenty of space on the beach ; Duco the kite instructor can teach you from ground zero with all the IKO safety in mind and the powerboat to rescue you if needed.
I met Duco during my recent trip to Brazil and would not hesitate to put my son on his hands , the dutch man is in love with Rio and you have to go there and discover why!
