É um projeto do brilhante escultor Mario Cravo e consta de um grande bloco de concreto com um C encravado, neste bloco é citado os nomes dos demais mortos no acidente, Luis Calmon, Rogerio Rego, Henrique Brito, Naomar Alcantara, Adauto Pereira, Fernando Presidio, Cesare Casali, Fernando Barcelos, João Mendes, Manuel Cunha, Marcus Abicar, e Sergio Almeida. Aqui é uma ampla praça, agradavel para caminhadas.
The monument to the former mayor of Salvador is due to having died in a helicopter accident in the election campaign for governor on October 1, 1982. It is a project by the brilliant sculptor Mario Cravo and consists of a large concrete block with an embedded C, in this the names of the others killed in the accident are mentioned, Luis Calmon, Rogerio Rego, Henrique Brito, Naomar Alcantara, Adauto Pereira, Fernando Presidio, Cesare Casali, Fernando Barcelos, João Mendes, Manuel Cunha, Marcus Abicar, and Sergio Almeida. Here is a large square, pleasant for walking.
