Na mesma data, em 2012, seus estatutos tiveram sua aprovação definitiva.
Presente em dezenas de países do mundo, a Comunidade Católica Shalom é formada por homens e mulheres que, na diversidade das formas de vida presentes na Igreja, engajam-se numa vida comunitária e missionária, com a finalidade de levar o Evangelho de Jesus Cristo a todos os homens e mulheres, especialmente aqueles distantes de Cristo e da Igreja.
The Shalom Catholic Community is an International Private Association of the Faithful, with legal personality, recognized by the Holy See in its decree of February 22, 2007, at the then Pontifical Council for the Laity (whose competences and functions are currently assumed by the Department for Lay People, Family and Life). On the same date, in 2012, its bylaws were finally approved.
Present in dozens of countries around the world, the Shalom Catholic Community is made up of men and women who, in the diversity of life forms present in the Church, engage in community and missionary life, with the purpose of bringing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all men and women, especially those distant from Christ and the Church.
