★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Em dezembro de 1919, através de autêntico projeto, LUIS LUCARINNI FILHO (Agrimensor), conseguiu finalizar os trabalhos que transformou o matagal do Largo de São Gonçalo do Amarante – Bairro Cajueiro Grande – Penedo/AL (Brasil) numa belíssima praça (Jácome Calheiros), incorporando a mesma balaustres, coretos, ânforas e estátuas romanas, Na época, no local exista a Igreja e Hospício São Gonçalo do Amarante (fundada em 1682), cujo espaço com o decorrer do tempo foi ocupado pelo magnífico prédio do atual Colégio Imaculada Conceição.
O Governante da época (07/01/1919 a 07/01/1921) era o Intendente FRANCISCO SILVA (*03/04/1871 e +25/07/1942, ambos em Penedo) do Partido Democrata (PD). A obra favoreceu, principalmente, aos alunos do Liceu de Penedo (primeira Escola Pública de Alagoas – 1879), cujo prédio, atualmente, é ocupado pela Emissora Rio São Francisco.

In December 1919, through an authentic project, LUIS LUCARINNI FILHO (Agrimensor), managed to complete the work that transformed the thicket of Largo de São Gonçalo do Amarante – Cajueiro Grande Neighborhood – Penedo/AL (Brazil) into a beautiful square (Jácome Calheiros) , incorporating the same balustrades, bandstands, amphoras and Roman statues. At the time, there was the Church and Hospício São Gonçalo do Amarante (founded in 1682), whose space over time was occupied by the magnificent building of the current Colégio Imaculada Conceição .
The Governor at the time (01/07/1919 to 01/07/1921) was the Intendant FRANCISCO SILVA (*04/03/1871 and +25/07/1942, both in Penedo) of the Democratic Party (PD). The work mainly benefited the students of the Liceu de Penedo (first Public School of Alagoas – 1879), whose building is currently occupied by the Rio São Francisco Station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cidade histórica que vc deve colocar em seu roteiro de férias, eu saí de carro alugado de Maceió para Aracaju nessa rota tem várias praias pra visitar e terminei com o pôr do sol nessa cidade, a balsa atravessa as 18:30 e vc chega em Aracaju andando de vagar as 20h, aqui é a foz do velho Chico
Historic city that you should put on your vacation itinerary, I left by rental car from Maceió to Aracaju on this route there are several beaches to visit and I ended with the sunset in that city, the ferry crosses at 6:30 pm and you arrive in Aracaju walking slowly at 8 pm, this is the mouth of old Chico
