★ ★ ★ ★ ★ "Há muitos anos atrás, quando tudo estava iniciando em minha vida, eu andava de porta em porta dos comércios procurando emprego. Ninguém queria me contratar, então falei: “vou até a lanchonete do Roque”. Chegando em frente a lanchonete, estava logo uma placa: PRECISA-SE DE ATENDENTE. Meus olhos brilharam de felicidade, pois naquele momento meus pensamentos eram os melhores, é claro. Roque era meu amigo, uma vaga, eu tinha certeza que iria conseguir. Chamei ele em um canto e falei: “Amigo preciso dessa vaga de atendente. Você sabe da minha situação, vou me empenhar o máximo pode ter certeza, só preciso da vaga URGENTE”.
Então ele olhou pra mim e disse: “amigo não me leva a mal, mas eu preciso de uma moça, bonita, cheirosa e malhada pra trazer freguesia”.
Naquele momento as lagrimas caíram, eu disse: “tudo bem meu amigo, sucesso pra você”.
Então decidi vender minha bicicleta e comprei balas, canetas e doces pra vender na praia. As coisas foram dando certo, comprei uma BANCA, fiz faculdade, trabalhei em uma embarcação, ganhei um programa, virei dono da SBT. Anos depois quando eu já era dono do SBT, após apresentar o programa, minha assessoria disse: “tem um homem baixinho moreno te chamando, disse que é seu amigo de infância e que precisava muito falar contigo”. Fui até a portaria e era o Roque: “Silvio, desculpa por aquele dia. Faz anos que não nos falamos”.
Naquele momento vendo a situação dele eu disse: “Não precisa falar nada amigo, aquele NÃO, foi a melhor coisa que eu recebi na minha vida, foi a partir daquele não que eu corri atrás dos objetivos que eu realmente queria pra minha vida, OBRIGADO AMIGO!”
E disse mais para ele naquele momento: “Deus pode fechar, 1, 2, 3 milhares de portas, mas ELE sempre vai reservar uma porta certa pra você, entre comigo, sei do que precisa, vamos até o meu camarim, coma alguma coisa e vamos até o RH, a partir de hoje você vai trabalhar comigo”.
“Hoje faz mais de 30 anos que Roque trabalha comigo no SBT”.
Deixo para todos vocês: “Não desista! Mesmo que a porta se feche, coloque em sua mente que você vai vencer, lute com suas garras, não desista, nunca pensa em desistir, pois a vitória é sua.”

Things went well, I bought a BANK, I went to college, I worked on a boat, I won a program, I became the owner of SBT. Years later, when I was already the owner of SBT, after presenting the program, my adviser said: “there is a short dark man calling you, he said that he is your childhood friend and that he really needed to talk to you”. I went to the lobby and it was Roque: “Silvio, I'm sorry for that day. We haven't spoken in years ”.
At that moment, seeing his situation, I said: “You don't have to say anything, friend, that NO, it was the best thing I received in my life, it was from that moment that I ran after the goals I really wanted for my life, THANK YOU FRIEND!"
And I said more to him at that moment: “God can close, 1, 2, 3 thousand doors, but HE will always reserve a right door for you, come in with me, I know what you need, let's go to my dressing room, eat something and let's go to HR, starting today you will work with me ”.
“Today Roque has been working with me at SBT for over 30 years”.
