★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tenho 37 anos e estou com condromalacia patelar nos 2 joelhos, procurei vários médicos em Curitiba e todos disseram a mesma coisa: Que tinha "acabado" pra mim. Nunca mais eu poderia fazer nenhum tipo de atividade que forçasse meu joelho incluindo subir e descer escadas que é uma coisa comum em nosso dia a dia.
Não aceitei esse diagnóstico e fui em busca de um medico especialista no caso, um médico que realmente fosse BOM! Assim encontrei o Dr. Adriano e posso dizer com propriedade que ele não é bom, ele é ÓTIMO! Sem dúvidas foi um dos melhores médicos que consultei em minha vida. Seu atendimento e sua dedicação ao paciente é única. Da pra sentir que ele tem como missão mudar a vida de seus pacientes. O diagnóstico dele para mim foi inspirador, ele me mostrou que tenho tratamento sim, e que me dedicando e fazendo o tratamento corretamente com exercícios regularmente poderei ter uma vida normal e até esquecer que tenho esse problema no joelho. I am 37 years old and I have chondromalacia patellae on both knees, I went to several doctors in Curitiba and they all said the same thing: That it was "over" for me. Never again could I do any kind of activity that forced my knee, including going up and down stairs, which is a common thing in our daily lives.
I did not accept this diagnosis and went in search of a doctor specialized in the case, a doctor who was really GOOD! So I found Dr. Adriano and I can say with good reason that he is not good, he is GREAT! Without a doubt, he was one of the best doctors I have ever seen in my life. Their care and dedication to the patient is unique. You can feel that his mission is to change the lives of his patients. His diagnosis for me was inspiring, he showed me that I have treatment, and that if I dedicate myself and do the treatment correctly with regular exercises, I can have a normal life and even forget that I have this knee problem. With Dr. Adriano, I am not just having a treatment but a bucket of encouragement and inspiration at every visit! Dr Adriano is saving my knee after so much suffering looking for other doctors when I went to him, he did a drainage thing that no one had done and it has improved a lot now I can walk and even do exercise, which was almost impossible before and I still haven't even had the operation, imagine when to operate there I will become Adriano's athlete and the best orthopedic doctor I know

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Em 2003 passei por uma cirurgia de LCA que acabei perdendo depois de um entorse no joelho em 2008. Como prático Ciclismo, acabei não operando novamente (por ignorância) achando que não havia perdido a reconstrução.
Em 2020 treinar corrida, machuquei menisco do joelho esquerdo. Foi aí que comecei a procurar um médico cheguei ao Instituto Reaction através da indicação da Dra. Ana Paula Simões. Então marquei uma consulta com DR. Adriano.
Naquele momento eu pensava não ser possível voltar a pedalar, e desde a primeira consulta o Dr. Adriano sempre me inspirou muita confiança (como já havia sido atendido por outros profissionais de outras clínicas) e fiquei mais confiante, pois ele me deu literalmente uma aula analisando o resultado da ressonância dos joelhos.
Tanta confiança me encorajou ao ponto de querer operar os 2 joelhos no mesmo dia (esquerdo menisco e direito LCA).
Desde a primeira consulta, além do cuidado até a liberação para voltar a pedalar o Dr. Adriano me acompanhou, incentivou e passou confiança de que tudo iria voltar ao normal (confesso que em meio às dores da fisioterapia , tive dúvidas). Voltei a treinar com volume com apenas 7 mes após minha cirurgia, afinal meu objetivo era pedalar 500 km de São Paulo até Rio de Janeiro. No último dia 21/04/2021 (apenas 10 meses pós cirúrgico) fiz uma cicloviagem e não senti nenhum tipo de dor ou desconforto nos joelhos!
Mais uma vez agradeço ao atendimento do Dr. Adriano que me mostrou quão importante é o fato de ter um profissional preparado para realizar não apenas um procedimento médico, mas o sonho dos pacientes!

In 2003 I underwent an ACL surgery that I ended up losing after a sprained knee in 2008. As a practical Cycling, I ended up not operating again (out of ignorance) thinking that I had not lost the reconstruction.
In 2020 running training, I hurt my left knee meniscus. That's when I started looking for a doctor. I arrived at the Reaction Institute through the indication of Dr. Ana Paula Simões. So I made an appointment with DR. Adriano.
At that time, I thought it was not possible to cycle again, and since the first consultation, Dr. Adriano has always inspired me a lot of confidence (as he had already been seen by other professionals from other clinics) and I was more confident, because he literally gave me a class. analyzing the result of knee resonance.
So much confidence encouraged me to the point of wanting to operate both knees on the same day (left meniscus and right ACL).
From the first consultation, in addition to the care until the release to return to cycling, Dr. Adriano accompanied me, encouraged and was confident that everything would return to normal (I confess that in the midst of the pain of physiotherapy, I had doubts). I returned to training with volume at just 7 months after my surgery, after all my goal was to cycle 500 km from São Paulo to Rio de Janeiro. On the last day 04/21/2021 (only 10 months after surgery) I did a bicycle trip and I didn't feel any pain or discomfort in my knees!
Once again, I would like to thank Dr. Adriano for his assistance, which showed me how important it is to have a professional prepared to perform not only a medical procedure, but the patients' dream!

Venho de uma trajetória de cerca de 16 anos de passagem por pelo menos 5 ortopedistas diferentes com tratamentos conservadores, inúmeras viscosuplementações, algumas inclusive eu percebi que se tratavam de tentativa e erro, inúmeras horas em fisioterapia, abandono dos meus esportes prediletos e muita dor, frustração e cada vez mais a piora do meu quadro e mais limitações... A única coisa que eu ouvia dos profissionais é que aos 60 anos de idade teria que colocar prótese, também não poderia ser agora, ou seja... sofra dos 30 aos 60 anos e depois sofra ainda mais, era o que eu entendia.
Quando em 2020, já cansado e indignado, pesquisei na internet sobre alguma possível solução para condropatia e acabei encontrando o Dr. Adriano, diante de sua biografia, fiquei até assustado, imaginei que eu, um mero desenganado e pobre paciente com um problema que não parecia ter solução não receberia um atendimento muito bom, afinal... o doutor é uma estrela !! Trata de gente famosa, jogadores de futebol, etc... Mas mesmo assim fui atrás e me arrisquei, e não é que eu estava ABSURDAMENTE enganado !! Entendi porque o Instituo Reaction vem se tornando cada vez mais referência em saúde, são profissionais que além do trabalho, se preocupam de verdade com o bem estar dos seus pacientes, são humanos de verdade ! Tive toda a atenção necessária desde o meu primeiro contato via e-mail pro doutor que viu minhas RM e já me respondeu que meu caso tinha jeito !! Depois ainda tivemos a batalha da aprovação de meu convênio com o Doutor, novamente, intercedendo com laudos que justificavam a necessidade do meu procedimento e também a sua equipe administrativa que constantemente se empenharam para viabilizar minha cirurgia. Percebi que ali haviam pessoas preocupadas de verdade com minha reabilitação, fisioterapeutas extremamente capacitados, objetivos, cuidadosos e muito bem humorados ! Um ótimo ambiente, muito bem estruturado, organizado e tranquilo, me sinto muito a vontade quando estou por lá.
Evidentemente que tem o seu preço, porém não é nada fora da realidade, mas vale cada centavo investido, pois caro mesmo é investir seu tempo e qualquer valor em algo que não dê o resultado esperado. A recuperação de qualidade de vida é algo simplesmente INESTIMÁVEL e não tenho palavras para agradecer ao empenho de toda a equipe pela minha recuperação.

When in 2020, already tired and indignant, I searched the internet about a possible solution for chondropathy and I ended up finding Dr. Adriano, in front of his biography, I was even scared, I imagined that I, a mere disillusioned and poor patient with a problem that he didn't he seemed to have a solution he wouldn't receive very good care, after all... the doctor is a star !! It's about famous people, football players, etc... But even so I went after it and took a chance, and it's not that I was ABSURDLY wrong !! I understand why the Reaction Institute is becoming more and more a reference in health, they are professionals who, in addition to their work, really care about the well-being of their patients, they are real human beings! I had all the necessary attention since my first contact via e-mail to the doctor who saw my MRI and already replied that my case was good !! Afterwards, we still had the battle for the approval of my agreement with the Doctor, again, interceding with reports that justified the need for my procedure and also his administrative team that constantly strived to make my surgery feasible. I realized that there were people there who were really concerned about my rehabilitation, extremely capable physiotherapists, objective, careful and very humorous! A great environment, very well structured, organized and calm, I feel very comfortable when I'm there.
Of course it has its price, but it is nothing out of reality, but it is worth every penny invested, because it is expensive to invest your time and any value in something that does not give the expected result. The quality of life recovery is something simply INVALUABLE and I have no words to thank the efforts of the entire team for my recovery.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Em 06/03/2021 a RM deu Rotura longitudinal horizontal no corpo e corno posterior do menisco medial. Tinha dor no joelho. Fazia corrida de rua 2X na semana. Caminhadas. Porém em férias de fevereiro de 2021 e como leiga total no assunto exagerei na frequência e no volume e na intensidade. Sobrecarga. Na época um outro médico disse que tinha que operar. Por sorte e por juízo resolvi consultar o Dr. Adriano. Sério. Não operei. Aleluia! 3 aplicações terapêuticas no joelho com um produto que lubrifica e sem efeitos colaterais. Segui a risca a fisioterapia e as diretrizes para atividade física. "Menos é mais". Mudança total de comportamento e escolhas corretas permitiram manter as atividades e melhorar o joelho. Nada adianta se entupir de aeróbico sem ter uma boa sustentação muscular. Consistência. Já fiz 3 consultas e continuarei com o Dr. Adriano, anual agora.
On 03/06/2021, MRI showed a horizontal longitudinal tear in the body and posterior horn of the medial meniscus. I had knee pain. I did street racing 2X a week. Hiking. By luck and judgment I decided to consult Dr. Adriano. Serious. I did not operate. Hallelujah! 3 therapeutic applications on the knee with a product that lubricates and without side effects. I followed the physical therapy and physical activity guidelines to the letter. "Less is more". Total change in behavior and correct choices allowed maintaining activities and improving the knee. There's no point in clogging up on aerobics without having good muscle support. Consistency. I have already had 3 consultations and will continue with Dr. Adriano, annual now.
