★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Realizei cirurgia de ATM em 05/2021 com o Dr. Porém, o mesmo informou antes da cirurgia que seria necessário, por dentro da boca, realizar incisões para "raspar" o osso do maxilar (não houve justificativa plausível), além de lubrificar articulação externamente. Após a cirurgia (com grande quantidade de pontos e dor), o mesmo informou que "não foi possível alcançar o osso por dentro da boca, por isso nada foi realizado". Ou seja, abriu a minha boca a toa. Meu problema de tensão e dor no maxilar continua, onde quase 1 ano depois encontrei uma Dra em Campinas (F. Glicerio) que de fato entendeu o problema, e apenas com um aparelho móvel (para realizar abertura de angulo do maxilar), resolveu o problema - sem necessidade alguma de cirurgia.
Assim segue o review: o Dr tem um ótimo atendimento, muito cuidadoso e atencioso. Porém, insiste na cirurgia sem razão técnica evidente (confirmei com a posterior profissional da área, que de fato resolveu o problema). Sendo assim, fica em questão se se trata de má fé para realizar o maior número de cirurgias possível, ou se foi um equívoco de diagnóstico.
I performed TMJ surgery on 05/2021 with Dr. However, he informed before the surgery that it would be necessary, inside the mouth, to make incisions to "shave" the jaw bone (there was no plausible justification), in addition to lubricating the joint externally. After the surgery (with a lot of stitches and pain), he reported that "it was not possible to reach the bone inside the mouth, so nothing was done". In other words, I opened my mouth for nothing. My problem of tension and pain in the jaw continues, where almost 1 year later I found a Dr in Campinas (F. Glicerio) who really understood the problem, and only with a mobile device (to perform maxillary angle opening), solved the problem. problem - no need for surgery at all.
So follows the review: the Dr has a great service, very careful and attentive. However, he insists on surgery for no obvious technical reason (I confirmed with a later professional in the area, who in fact resolved the problem). Therefore, the question is whether it is a case of bad faith to perform as many surgeries as possible, or if it was a misdiagnosis.
