Uma vez que um estabelecimento adota aos cartões como forma de pagamento, é obrigado a passar qualquer valor.
Articles 39 and 40 of the Consumer Protection Code establish that charging a minimum amount for purchases made on cards is an abusive practice and is not allowed by the consumer's right. Once an establishment adopts cards as a form of payment, it is required to pass any amount.
