★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Restaurante a quilo que cobra 10℅? Nunca vi antes. Preço do kilo é caro pra qualidade (R$ 79) e o único atendimento que recebi foi pra pedir bebida, o qual tive que correr atrás de um atendente se não teria ficado sem.
 Restaurant by the kilo that charges 10℅? I've never seen it before. Price per kilo is expensive for the quality (R$ 79) and the only service I received was to order a drink, which I had to run after an attendant if I wouldn't have been without.

É um lugar simples e agradável porém o atendimento é péssimo. Entrei no restaurante e fiquei aguardando até que alguém me recepcionasse para acomodar na mesa, o que não aconteceu.
Ao sentar na mesa ficamos esperando por mais de 15 minutos um garçom.
O suco vendido no cardápio deveria estar descrito como refresco, totalmente aguado.
A comida é boa, nada excepcional. Não tem guardanapo e sal nas mesas.
A doceria tem bastante variedade.
O alambique tem a parte interessante onde o vendedor explica sobre as cachaças mas há vários outros pontos no ambiente do restaurante que poderia ser explicados ao menos por plaquinhas. Achei descuidada a visitação.

It's a simple and pleasant place, but the service is terrible. I entered the restaurant and waited until someone welcomed me to seat me at the table, which didn't happen.
When sitting at the table, we were waiting for more than 15 minutes for a waiter.
The juice sold on the menu should be described as a soft drink, completely watered down.
Food is good, nothing to rave about. There are no napkins and salt on the tables.
The bakery has a lot of variety.
The still has the interesting part where the seller explains about the cachaças, but there are several other points in the restaurant's environment that could be explained at least by signs. I thought the visitation was careless.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lugar lindo, excepcional. Acredito ser o melhor alambique pra se visitar no quesito estrutura e opulência histórica. No entanto, atendimento ruim. Não explicam nada, você passa por coisas interessante mas não há ninguém para te guiar ou explicar. Fui em busca da vista para a Serra da Bocaina, que é um deslumbre. Mas não soube sequer que lá havia um restaurante muito recomendado e premiado. Uma pena. Espero voltar para que mude a impressão. Ainda assim afirmo que vale a pena a visita. A cachaça com melado é um caso à parte.
Beautiful place, exceptional. I believe it is the best still to visit in terms of structure and historical opulence. However, poor service. They don't explain anything, you go through interesting things but there's no one to guide or explain. I went in search of a view of Serra da Bocaina, which is a wonder. But I didn't even know that there was a highly recommended and awarded restaurant there. A feather. I hope to come back to change the impression. Still I say it is worth the visit. Cachaça with molasses is a case in point.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Verdadeiro sabor do doce caseiro! Destaque para os doces com cachaça, que se esgotam rapidamente sempre que disponíveis. Todos os doces ou são de produção do próprio local ou são comprados de produtores artesanais. A decoração é ótima e o lugar bem aconchegante. Você encontra doces, farinha de mandioca feita no local, sorvetes, geleias e muito mais. Excelente alta quem quer apenas apreciar uma sobremesa!!!
True taste of homemade candy! The highlight is the cachaça sweets, which sell out quickly whenever available. All sweets are either locally produced or purchased from artisanal producers. The decor is great and the place very cozy. You can find sweets, locally made cassava flour, ice cream, jellies and more. Excellent high who just wants to enjoy a dessert !!!

Super friendly staff! The restaurant's buffet is wonderful! It has an amazing variety and the price is affordable! 7 and little 100gr. We ordered the chicken that isn't in the buffet! It's delicious and well served! The view is also breathtaking!
The still is worth visiting! Across the street there is a super cool waterfall too! It is worth it!

Um restaurante com muita história e lazer completo. Você tem o restaurante que fica na parte de cima aonde é servido uma comida de roça ( mineira) muito gostosa e com muita variedade, a comida é a quilo e eles sempre ficam repondo a comida no salão. ISSO É MARAVILHOSO! ???
Na parte de baixo você faz uma visitação incrível no alambique da família que tem muita tradição e ótimas opções de cachaças. O Engenho D'Ouro tem opções que já ganharam muitas premiações de cachaças mundo a fora! E claro levei uma para a minha coleção! ??

A restaurant with a lot of history and complete leisure. You have the restaurant at the top where they serve delicious food from the countryside (Minas Gerais) with a lot of variety, the food is by the kilo and they are always replacing the food in the hall. THIS IS WONDERFUL! ???
Downstairs, you can visit the family's still, which has a lot of tradition and great cachaça options. Engenho D'Ouro has options that have won many cachaça awards around the world! And of course I took one for my collection! ??
