★ ★ ★ ★ ★ David Campista é um lugar histórico projetado pelo engenheiro e arquiteto alemão Carlos Maywald. Segundo histórias, era um antigo sanatório feito para curar as pessoas com problemas respiratórios. Porém também há história de que foi apenas un hotel (Parc Hotel) feito pela empresa Sanatorium S.A, e por isso foi colocado o nome em cima do prédio. Assim para seus hóspedes também tinha uma farmácia para cuidar de qualquer problema respiratórios para aproveitar o nome de "sanatório", e não aceitava tuberculosos.
Porém seja qual for a real história, anos depois o lugar falhiu e tornou-se depois a Escola Estadual David Campista, em que assim permanece até os dias de hoje.
David Camper is a historic site designed by German engineer and architect Carlos Maywald. According to stories, it was an old sanatorium designed to cure people with breathing problems. But there is also a story that it was just a hotel (Parc Hotel) made by Sanatorium S.A, so the name was placed on top of the building. So for its guests also had a pharmacy to take care of any respiratory problems to take the name of "sanatorium", and did not accept tuberculosis.
But whatever the real story is, years later the place failed and later became the David Campista State School, which remains so to this day.
