A escola conta com diversas salas de aula e espaços ao ar livre para as crianças poderme brincar. Possui também uma horta agroecologica onde os alunos aprendem sobre a importância da natureza, como são cultivados os alimentos que comem normalmente, como cuidar do solo, da fauna nativa, etc.
Beautiful school and the result of a lot of resistance from the residents of the neighborhood, mainly from Horto. Founded more than 50 years ago in honor of the mother of former President Juscelino Kubitchek. The school has several classrooms and outdoor spaces for children to play. It also has an agroecological garden where students learn about the importance of nature, how the foods they normally eat are grown, how to care for the soil, native fauna, etc.
